Oban Bay Views - Fireplace, Games & Books

Lovely place - spacious, light and comfortable, with wonderful views of sea, town and sunsets - conveniently situated near the train station and harbour. Would definitely stay here again.

Not exactly a 'dislike' - but needs attention as the bathroom floor is getting damp... Every time the loo is flushed the force of it causes a small amount of water to spurt out from the cistern around the handle.

Die Lage ist spitze. Die Wohnung ist gut geschnitten mit 3 Schlafzimmern und einem Bad. Der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer über die Stadt und den Hafen ist toll. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet.

Der Hausflur könnte mal renoviert werden und die Treppe kann einen neuen Teppich gebrauchen (Achtung Stolpergefahr).

Loved the view and quiet neighborhood. Charming and interior design was colorful and pretty. Perfect apartment for 5 adults on a short trip. Kitchen was well equipped and supplied with spices and coffee/ tea.

Linoleum floors were funky. Americans would live a clothes dryer:)

The stairs were a bit of a challenge for us having a baby with us but nothing we couldn’t manage . The heating was a bit difficult to work out but once sorted it was fine .

Plenty of room (we are a family of five). Everything you need is there. Very comfortable.

Radiator in the bathroom wasn’t working. Weather was OK so only a minor inconvenience.

Great communication and instructions from the owner, canna fault them, was really good and lovely. Facilities weren't bad, there was enough of everything there that was needed and then able to still take own stuff too which we like. Comfort was good all round, warm and cosy and the beds were soft to touch but we like ours a little more supporting and firmer but does for the time your there. Really good value for money especially for the 6 of us for the weekend and especially having a young child. Location was fab for us really and loved how close it was to everything we were needing. Lastly the view was absolutely spectacular even with the wet weather we had and we love watching all the boats, big highlight for us so the height of the building was great and more

As we were 5 adults and a child(5yrs) in our party we had one of the doubles for our mum and dad(Our Parents), the other for my other half and me and then the singles were for our sister and our child, the single beds are great for kids but was a tad short for our sister who was the 5th adult in our party but this was the only way we could work the room allocation as no other way. Again was okay for just the couple nights but wouldn't be good for a week say so might put people off. The kitchen was lovely and a good size but felt it was a bit thrown together especially some of the shelving, the loose screws just holding certain shelves up to us feels a bit unsafe, definitely in the glass tumblers etc cupboard where anymore weight or closing of the cupboard door too often could be a trigger or catching a shelf would have the lot potentially crashing down and could be very dangerous, just a heads up. Lastly some places were a bit on the dusty side especially along near the tops of the curtains and some work surfaces, could be an asthma trigger for some if not checked as our child is someone who is one. Also we like to have a bit more privacy at night in the living room and kitchen definitely, so possibly adding a blind to the kitchen window might really help and having fully closing curtains on the living room bay window might be better as we felt it was rather exposed and a bit too open for our liking during dark hours.

Smelly entrance, dangerous entrance stair carpets. Incorrectly adjusted main door closer ( large signs saying don't slam the door). When the main door closer has been set up that way to help the disabled neighbours. Watch the 10am checkout time,the cleaning schedule takes presidency over the paying guests.

Beautiful flat with everything you could need but unfortunately the downsides outweighed the good.

Really strong smell of cigarettes permeating the whole property, hard to breathe and spend time with the windows closed which is really unfortunate in the windy cold weather! Smelled like decades of smoking as well as well new smoke. Couldn’t use one of the bedrooms at all due to the smell. Really surprised this hasn’t been mentioned before. There were plug in air fresheners all over so it’s obvious the management know about this. When we informed them upon arrival the only response was they’d tell housekeeping.
