Extremely well appointed, unique local architecture, interesting and cozy design and layout. I LOVED the shower room, the king sized bed was outstanding to sleep in, and, many thoughtful and quality amenities were provided , including an outdoor fire pit for stargazing. Finding the property and parking were so easy. I felt safe there, although these west Texas towns are rough and hardscrabble. Good privacy. The host was very cordial and responsive. Finally, it’s about as close to the Big Bend National Park entrance as you’ll get if staying outside the park. Enthusiastic 5 stars!

Could’ve been more hot water.

Clean and nicely decorated. Great location with plenty of restaurants close by. Had a little trouble getting the heater going but got immediate response early in the morning. Much appreciated!

It’s an adorable casita just a short walk to Ghost Town and the Starlight. Loved the comfortable bed, big shower, and fire pit. And Terlingua is a perfect spot to explore the state and national Big Bend Parks.

It’s just a bit close to the road for traffic going in and out of Ghost Town, so there is a little traffic noise while sitting at the fire pit. The concrete platform for the bed which sticks out about a foot from the mattress is a bit of a navigational issue. Both are very, very minor issues, and we would definitely stay again.

We were just missing a place to hang clothes (like a closet) but overall it was a great place
