"Great location but not so great condo condition, and the worst host ever !!!"

Location is nice, very close to the beach.

The worst host ever ! He didn't give us clear instructions how to get the keys, when we finally got the keys , then found out the door couldn't be opened. We kept trying in the sweating heat and attacked by many mosquitoes all over, finally were guided to try entering through the balcony door. Question 1: Why didn't the host try to come to help when he is around ? Minutes after we got inside, the host came and brought us two bars of soap, 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 small bags of popcorn, 4 very small bottles of water ,ONE plastic trash bag. We saw there is an empty blue water bottle (20 litre) in the room and asked the host to replace with a new one since we will stay 4 nights. He replied that four small bottles of water is all we can get, moreover, he snapped back the drinking water supply is not listed on the app. Question 2: WHY there was an empty bottle left in the room ? He then continued saying: come on, I let you guys check in before 3 pm, and I brought you guys popcorn !!! Translation: He has given us a biggggg favor and we should shut up and take the crap. Another issue is plastic trash bag, as I couldn't understand why the host would not give us more. After we filled up the only given bag, we faced the dilemma to buy more on our own or just threw the trash in without bag. The angel side of us decided to react like decent matured beings, as we know it will be the cleaner has to suffer at the end, which we had no intention to see that happen. The being cheap attitude of the host led to the apartment in bad condition, the doors are jammed and hard to open properly, doors are covered with stains, the bad smell lingering all over. During our stay, we bumped into another host of other units, eg ocean view, and even loft, etc. We kept his number ! After all, this condo complex is lovely with great location, we would love to return in the future but definitely NOT in this unit ever again !!!
