Banaras Gully House 500 ft from The Ghats

Good location, nice restaurant and rooftop

The place is well kept, lively and the staff along with the host is extremely polite and sweet and friendly :) Really good hostel, easily accessible. The food in the cafe is also good. Had a comfortable stay :)

Exceptionally friendly and chatty owner, good food, chilled vibes, easy to get into contact with people, close to the Ghats.

The AC was turned off early in the morning, often at about 7 am. This was not cool and also inappropriate given that the hostel was rather on the expensive side.

Staff is very much kind and helpful.

The place isn’t clean and owners need to invest some money in improving the place, it’s expensive for the offer that it has, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This place has my warmest recommendations, especially for those traveling alone. Convenient dorms, clean and fresh, well looked after. The staff and the food here has been such a surprise - very friendly, open and welcoming approach. The food was delicious! For me, the location was not an issue, with some patience with Google maps you will find your way. Its calm space around and shops, restaurants and ghats are in very close walking distance.
