Stylish home in York - Free Wifi & Parking - Close to Racecourse & City Centre

Perfect for our family and was extremely clean, well organised and had everything we needed

Location was good, clear communication from owners, very comfortable and clean and modern

Beautiful freshly renovated house. Great location and perfect for our small group.

The beds were comfy and covers and pillows were all very nice . Key easily to locate on arrival and the property was clean and tidy. Tea ,coffee milk, and biscuits are provided and a nice touch and welcome after a long journey. Ideal for those going to the races as aroubd the corner and just a couple of miles into York city centre with plenty to do. House also had WiFi.

The house needs some curtains in all rooms as well as blinds as light comes in early . There was some damp downstairs/bedroom and the house smelt a bit fusty due to this.l, however we opened all the windows and this helped massively. Also there was a hanging wire in living room and uncovered radiator point ( we covered it) . Unfortunately there are no full length mirrors and only one mirror in the entire house in the bathroom , with five getting ready to go out this was not easy, nut is easily solved in my opinion. - some of us used the microwave as it was mirrored! Also we had some issues with the shower temperature it was either boiling or freezing even if you moved it a couple of millimeters but im sure a plumber could easily fix. It js also worth noting that its a terraced house with thin walls and elderly neighbours and one was very irate our first night screaming at us through the house out of the window ' I am f**ing sick of this every weekend' as we got in a taxi about an hour after we arrived . Parking was also not easy as limited on the terraced street.

Excellent location, the house was tidy and clean and had everything as promised. Perfect for what we needed!

The toilet seat was a touch loose but that’s only being picky!

Lovely house, excellent clean facilities. Owners ensured we had a cot made up and made efforts to let us check in early as we were going to a wedding. Comfortable beds. Owners were attentive and in communication.

The house would benefit from having some curtains along with the blinds to darken the room.

Host was very communicative and it was very easy to access the property.
