Apartment had everything we needed, easy walk into the centre.

Dark as ground floor however we only booked one night

The layout of the apartment and Netflix was great . It looked cosy at first glance before the facility and cleanliness issues popped up. It is not the City Haven the name claims .

The host was accommodating on day one so we tried to be gracious and beared with a few issues but as more issues cropped up through our stay ( both my daughter and I slipped and fell .. we decided to convey our grievances before we checked out . It was not well cleaned .. facilities did not work Upon check in , 1) We found crumbs on the sofa bed and arm chair .. someone was sent to clean 2) Bed linen for the sofa bed was not pressed .. all crinkled and bundled up in the boiler room .. not rectified 3) bathroom and toilet bowl had mould I have pictures I have seen much cleaner public toilets 4) towels White towels were not white .. I have a picture We booked for 3 but there were only towels for 2 ( subsequently rectified ) 5) kitchen Oven had crumbs and was sticky Refrigerator had not been cleaned and had left over food in it .. we cleaned it ourselves 6) shower and built in extractor fan did not work I was asked … did you switch it off or operate it incorrectly ? The water temperature control knob did not work .. could only turn in one direction … to cold but only scalding hot water came out .. the bathroom eventually turned into a sauna and became wet . We were told that the property had changed hands by the new owner who came to clean up the crumbs earlier…he did try to talk us through via text but eventually told us to look up the YouTube ourselves for videos on how to rectify it . .. we were unfortunately unable to solve the issue and beared with it . My daughter slipped on the the floor .. and myself in the bath tub.. both sustaining bruises . 7) mirror in the bathroom is a safety hazard .. not anchored down for safety When I slipped and fell backwards in the bath tub , the heavy mirror toppled and fell on my head .. I sustained swelling .. can’t imagine if it had broken into pieces .. I would have had to go to the emergency room in the hospital with cuts , not to mention a possible head concussion .
