Homey 1st Floor Studio #135 at Donner Lake Village

Location was convenient next to the lake and next to the water sport rentals. Room also faced the parking lot so easy to load and unload car.

No kitchenette in this unit - with the cost of dining in the area, we will look for a unit with kitchenette next time.

We picked a room very close from the lake, they have a nice pit on the second floor and we where basically the only ones that day (it was during week days) wich was good. We enjoy a lot the outside area with the lake view.

They were doing some repairs next to our room and one of the entrances was kind of block.

I liked that everything was basically self service codes were a little tricky at first to understand which went to which building or door. The availability of bbq was nice and chairs etc. nice that is was close to the lake.

The parking lot next to building C had construction area so made it harder for access and when the marina launch was being used the parking spots for guest staying were a little limited due to that. also, no picking benches on that side for guest with rooms facing the parking lot unlike the courtyard side. need a little more description when booking so we know which rooms face the courtyard or lake.

Location is the best

The room is poorly soundproofed, and the air conditioner only has two options: on and off. It's so hot when it's on, and so cold when it's off.

Love the location and the privacy. Every room seemed to be a bit different, love the amenities. When I went it was colder than it was forecasted. The first rain of the year and the heater wasn't working at first. I emailed the owners and within 10 minutes a maintenance guy came down checked it out and left to get a room heater. My email didn't even update with a reply yet by the time he was done. I really appreciated the fast fix so we could continue to enjoy our visit!
