The property was very central to everything we needed; so many restaurants to choose from, cafes serving amazing gelato and cakes/pastries. We went to Amalfi Coast by coach(1 hour)as the ferry was unavailable on the day due to bad weather conditions

"Fantastic, stylish base for your stay on the Amalfi Coast"

Vinny has newly opened this establishment in his home town, after years abroad, after purchasing and lovingly renovating an historic building smack bang in the centre of town. You literally walk out the front door and everything is buzzing around you. The accommodation is faultless (extremely modern and obviously brand new) and Vinny himself a charming and thoughtful host. Vietri Sul Mare is the first town on the Amalfi Coast, just 10 minutes by train from Salerno, so a perfect alternative to the WAY more touristy and less authentic Positano & Amalfi. You can easily reach these by ferry or bus. Can thoroughly recommend both Vinny’s and Vietri Sul Mare as your base for exploring this exquisite part of the world.

Because the place is new, some of the explanations of how things work could be better…. Operation of lights, AC, wifi, breakfast hours, how to arrive from the railway station (by lift then 50m walk), recommendations of local restaurants, etc. Have recommended to Vinny a welcome card in the room. ☺️
