Beautiful location, clean and stylish interiors, comfortable bed, good wifi, easy to follow directions.

Dining chairs were very uncomfortable but hardly a major issue. I was a bit worried when I saw all the signs about being fined for parking but ignored them as per Anne’s instructions and encountered no issues.

Love the location, scenery in this part of the world is something else. Narrow roads and hills aren't for the faint of heart. But the trip here feels like an adventure. Property it's self is clean, comfortable and has everything you might need for a short stay. View from lodge 1 is far better.

Fake no parking signs threatening fines, regardless of property owners message to ignore them. Their presence makes you feel unwelcome.

Very peaceful and quiet

Situated in a beautiful area, clean accommodation. Facilities inside the Lodge were good.

Initially the Lodge was hard to find and confusion as to access. Unfortunately the sitting room settees were very low and not that comfortable, people with mobility issues would have found it impossible to get up from them. Also the dining chairs were not that comfortable either. Otherwise we were pretty happy overall with the accommodation.

Tranquility

Lack of sunlight whatever time of day. Trees cutting out sunlight all around. Limited access to the loch. Parking arrangements very difficult with neighbours. Decking lethal in damp weather. The photos on the website give a very different impression to the facilities of the property. The route to the property and surrounding area is stunning. No question. Couldn’t use any of the seating. Two sofas and two chairs resembled footons. The dining chairs had hard edges that cut into your thighs. We used our camping chairs for comfort for 4 days. This furniture NEEDS to be changed!

I stayed in both lodges, and they were both lovely, serene spaces. Lodge 1 is preferable due to its open views and sense of total privacy. The accommodation is comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. Drumbeg has a wee shop, a hotel, a brilliant coffee garden (check hours), beautiful walks and on the doorstep wild swimming for those that are brave enough for highland temperatures.

Dining chairs could do with replacing as they are stylish but uncomfortable. I moved a garden chair inside to account for this, which worked better.

Location very good, facilities excellent. Every thing was very clean and extremely well equipped.

Main problem was the sofa chairs were too low, uncomfortable and difficult to get up from. A minor problem was I couldn not get the TV to work, probably my fault lacking IT skills.

It was a lovely cottage/chalet, had everything I needed. Stayed 3 nights was very quiet and peaceful.

Parking could be better I know they had workings going on but still was a little hassle. It would be nice either to have a dryer or a clothes horse to hang clothes inside as it rained the whole time I was there. There is a line outside but no pegs.

From the very start, the host Anne provided lots of advice on directions for the property and everything you could possibly think of, from places to eat to boat trips. She certainly made us feel very welcome (thank you)! The lodge is situated in stunning hills and mountains. Each trip to and from the property reveals a new stunning vista. At the end of a long day walking/sight seeing, the lodge was a wonderful, warm and cozy place to return to!
