"Very good"

The place is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. Away from the busyness of the City but still close enough to get there in less than five minutes. Everything you need for a few nights sleep is provided. The highlight of my stay was to find that the Karoo Desert National Park was literally up the road. I've been meaning to visit this place for quite a while now. The service at the Restaurant as well as the Breakfast we ordered was very good.

"Great hosts, very clean with everything you need."

Owner and her husband are lovely hosts. Everything and more than you can expect was supplied. Comfortable bed, very nice linen. Airfryer and also a gas stove and kettle in case of Loadshedding. Lights stay on even when power goes off. Breakfast supplied was very fresh and more than enough. Tea and coffee milk all supplied by hosts. All soaps and toiletries as well. And even though they were booked out for the weekend they offered me accomodation in their home if my husband would still be in hospital. We will be staying here again. And will recommend them to other travellers. Also it is very safe area with parking behind locked gates. We wish them every success.

"Overall disappointing for the price paid."

The place was clean and private.

I understood that I was booking a guest house, NOT a self-contained cottage at the back of a house. The place was clean, but found the one-ply toilet paper and quality, not of good standing, not acceptable for the price. Secondly, there was no shower cap, nor did the soap dispenser work. The makeshift bedroom door - a sliding door was a problem - did not slide open or close easily. The bedroom was tiled, leading onto a shower /bathroom, I found it to be cold. There was no cupboard to hang my clothes ( or clothes rack). A comfortable armchair would have been appreciated after a long day of traveling and work.

"Hidden gem"

We had a very lovely overnight stay en route to George from Cape Town. What we liked most: Spacious and well equipped kitchen. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and I really appreciated the electric blankets. The unit was well equipped for load shedding. Thoughtful touches throughout. The breakfast was great too!

The unit is close to perfect. The bathroom just didn't have a door on it, but it really wasn't too much of an issue.
