"Family vacation"

Accommodation is very comfortable and safe for families with children and dogs and people doing hiking. All nature spots and areas worth to see is reachable by car within 1 hour. The house is very well equipped, with quite a big garden, terase and nice view, which helps you to enjoy your vacation. The nearest restaurant is 200 m away, another is in nearby village cca 2 km with food store. We have spent a very nice time there and we can recommend it to all nature and dog lovers.

The location was great. The owner was very nice and friendly. The fireplace was beautiful and a nice touch.

The electrical heaters overwhelm the power system of the house if used on max setting. The fire from the fireplace and the kitchen causes a lot of smoke which lingers in the house and gets into everything, clothes, linen etc. Smoke from the neighbors fire in the winter time gets inside the house if you try to vent. Bathroom was small, but well equipped. Considering that the fire was not allowed for the boiler it was extremely cold in the bathroom. While it is small, in our opinion a bidet should not have been placed there, but the focus should have been on making the toilet area and shower a bit larger.

"Would not recommend"

The area was overall nice, but more secluded than we hoped.

The house was very damp and cold when we arrived. And the instructions said not to use the fireplace, only in emergencies or extreme weather. The only other heating source is an electric radiator in the bedroom. We ended up needing the fireplace everyday to keep the house dry. The bathroom is very cramped. The toilet is so close to the wall you touch it with your leg while sitting down. The shower was clean, but very small. And it was leaking and causing water damage on the wall. The stove turned on and off while we were cooking and the extractor hood was not connected properly. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and hard as rock. Two-three days in we were actually talking about finding another place because of the conditions off the house, but we didn't want to waste the money we already spent - this house was not a cheap booking.
