Location is perfect. Too bad the bedroom/bedding, apartment decor, furnishings, little touches are nothing like the photos.

Bedroom is nothing like the photos (see attached photo). Can feel the springs in the mattress. Basic bedding. Apartment decor and little touches are nothing like the photos. Soaps not refilled, and no toilet paper. Apartment smelled of cigarettes. Contacted management company, they jerked me around with false promises, wasting my time, and never did anything to improve my situation and better my stay (similar to other recent reviews). Unfortunately, this could be a really great place if Management did better with the bed/bedroom, furnishings, decor and extras (as advertised in the photos - but, not delivered upon). Very frustrating and disappointing.

I like that I can check in by myself, and I really like the link which I receive from manager, where everything was explained properly, from where is the keys and so on.

Omg, I don't know where to start. 1. It was self check in, on 3th floor, but I don't know what connection 2flour lady have with that apartment, but she was standing in doors and looking on me like I just now murder someone. 2. Sound isolation is so bad that I can hear that same lady in 2flor farted or flashed the toilet, it's seemed to me it was next to me. 3. In that flat was so cold, I turned on all heating what I could find, and sat by the TV. off course TV remote batterys was empty, I got some others from my toothbrush, but that didn't help either because it wasn't smart TV so no internet or even basic TV programmes wasn't showing, so I sat there for 2 hours and when I understand that temperature in that flat in two hours was raised only for 1.5 degrees, I just left, and took 2 times cheaper room in hotel, where was smart TV and very nice and warm.

The check-in instructions were really easy to follow. The host was easily contactable during our stay and was super friendly. This accommodation/host company has its own app with all the handy information you need for your stay that you get upon booking. I loved the apartment, it was super cute and well decorated. There was a guest book which was so nice to read and leave a comment in. The wifi was great and Chromecast was provided with the TV. The dining, bathroom and kitchen were spacious and equipped with everything you needed to cook, wash, clean and have a comfortable stay. Extra pillows were available in the storage room and a clothes horse was in the laundry. The living room couch and the main bed was super comfortable, but watch your head because the ceilings are low and slanted in these areas of the apartment :) The location was superb, being so close to the Bryggen Marina and other shops. I would recommend the FlyBussen to get you from the airport to Bryggen and then walk. Such a beautiful city!

There weren't any English instructions on how to use the washing machine. We figured out the washing part okay, but could only get the clothes semi-dry. The TV needs upgrading and the remote needed new batteries. I have the same TV at home so I was able to figure out how to turn it on and work the Chromecast. This is not a huge issue at all though because most people travelling are not watching lots of TV, we just liked to watch it each evening to wind down. The apartment is at the top of a winding narrow metal staircase, which (although a little challenging with luggage) was not off-putting for us, but perhaps not suitable for the less able and certainly not wheelchair accessible.

The location of this property was fabulous, walking distance from the historic center, restaurants and attractions, walking distance to the lightrail en train station. The apartment was perfect for two and meet all our needs. Even the little seating area outside on the landing was a great way to end the evening with a drink in hand, after a busy day of impressions and new adventures.
