Cozy houston Getaway 1 bed 1 bath

We didn't like anything with the property.

On the day of arrival late in the afternoon we received an email to advise the original room booked was no longer available and they offered us another room. By the time we got to the accommodation it was late and there was no other option than to take the new room. The room was not clean, floors filthy, there was no additional bedding for the sofa's for the additional guests and stains on one of the couches, no cleaning products. Day 3 a cockroach was found on the lounge floor. Towels were old second hands and the washing machine , I wouldn't even use it. The room smelt aweful, there was a hole in one of the doors, joining between rooms was missing on the floor, some of the light bulbs were blown. Aircon vents were filthy and filled with dust. I would not recommend staying at this property to anyone.

The apartment was awfully dirty, dirty floors, walls, kitchen, bathroom…just everything. Couch was broken so two of us had no place to sleep(after our report, the owner ordered a mattress and towels from target- And that would be the pluses) I had the impression that the owner wanted to solve the issue by ordering a mattress or towels, but at the lowest possible cost. In addition, he delayed the moment of our check-in, because apparently the cleaning team extended the cleaning time. I don't know what kind, since we found the apartment in such a state. Two of us sleeping in the large bed in the bedroom were bitten by bedbugs. We decided to literally run away from there and book another hotel because staying there was literally disgusting and dangerous to our health.

Customer service is bad, broken sofa bed, dirty shower curtain, floor wasnt swept.

The location was great.

It was not cleaned before our stay. The dining table had crumbs. The restroom was dirty with urine around the bottom of the toilet and mold on the shower curtain. There was hair everywhere. There was hair in the bedding, I had to go find my own bedding for our stay.

Very cozy in downtown neighborhood. Very responsive if I had message for questions. Everything was very tidy and the wifi was better than a hotel for sure lol. Ideal for a weekend or even a week trip with your significant other. And for the price, it’s a crazy good deal in my opinion. Less than 300 for a weekend in a APARTMENT not even a hotel room. In downtown. Will definitely come back.
