Kotseli - Sea View, Pool, Sunsets

On a positive note, the location was very nice — only about a 15-minute drive to Gavrio, the main port, which made it convenient for exploring the island, to North beaches such as Vitali & Zorgos (15mins) but famous beach Fellos. Jason the guy who was expecting us to Kotseli was also extremely helpful and always willing to accommodate our requests. For example, he promptly installed the only two windows that could fit food, which we greatly appreciated.

The room is very small with two beds squeezed in, and the bathroom is shared with only minimal ventilation. The kitchen is on another floor without air conditioning, making it inconvenient for families. The mattresses, toilet seat, and bathroom fittings should be replaced, as they don’t match what one would expect from a “villa.” Because the doors are old traditional and ceiling are made of Karystos stone, quite a few insects come inside, so it’s necessary to check sheets and bedding carefully (on our last night I was bitten, luckily not the children). Cleaning is not on a daily basis, and there is only a single small bin provided for toilet paper, which is not very practical. Overall, while the setting and host were positive, the indoor comfort and facilities need improvement, and for us it did not feel worth the price.

The place is beautiful – tastefully decorated with stylish furniture, a peaceful location, and breathtaking sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped, the A/C works perfectly, and the pool offers an amazing view. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Our stay at Kotzeili Villa in Andros was absolutely magical! Jason and Lyam were amazing hosts — incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. The villa is truly pet friendly, which meant the world to us as we were traveling with our dog. The view was absolutely breathtaking — one of those rare places where you can’t stop admiring the scenery, whether you’re having your morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. The facilities were spotless, beautifully designed, and fully equipped, offering everything we could need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind. Overall, the experience was flawless, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, serene, and truly memorable stay in Andros.

We had a great time at Kotseli. Our hosts were really friendly. The house set up in a fantastic location, beautiful views, close to nice restaurants and 10 minutes drive away from beach and the port. Stylish but yet rustic decor. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a special Greek island holiday.
