"Good value for money."

8.0

Quiet room close to restaurants etc.

Both front door and room locks were very difficult to operate when unlocking from outside.

"it is fine and good value for money (cheap!)"

7.0

This is a very cheap room and it is perfectly fine. It is a small room and it warm and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen too so you could microwave yourself a meal or make a pot noodle etc. It is very close to the Hollyhead to Dublin ferry terminal for walk-on passengers. It is an easy walk into town.

There are no windows in the room. You share a toilet and shower with four other rooms so you have to wait at busy times and other residents can be noisy in the shared hallway.

"Monastic penance."

3.0

Close to train and ferry.

No window. Bri-nylon sheets. Difficult locks. Holyhead is a bit sad.

"Cheap but hard to unlock this bargain."

4.0

Location was excellent

No ventilation in room - no window - no chair. Door lock on room was difficult to operate due to damaged door Entry door to property was exceptionally hard to unlock. Steep stairs immediately inside front door made entry very awkward with suitcase & bag.

"I slept well and the staff were nice , and it was a very cheap room , but I didn’t like the part of town where it was lo"

7.0

Comfy bed , nice staff, shared shower was clean and hot .

No window in my bedroom . Key didn’t lock properly ( as previous guest hadn’t left the key for the room so it was a replacement) Tv remote didn’t work A chair in the room would have been nice . Well equipped kitchen .

"Comfortable but few things to sort."

7.0

The room was fine, it's the smallest single I think, and no window, which could be a bit claustrophobic for some. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was shared, but spacious and clean. There is a small kitchen area, with microwave, mini cooker and fridge. This was useful.

A bit concerned with the door to the room, stiff and very difficult to lock, from outside I don't think I was able to lock it properly, so didn't stay out long when I went for a walk to find something for dinner. Closing it from the inside, the door needs a good pull, I think I knocked out my Digital TV reception one of these times. From the inside you can see the lock misaligns. All the doors seemed stiff, could hear people struggling with bathroom door, there is a moment where you wonder if you will get out! Also the room next to mine. Electrics, the socket for the TV aerial was hanging off the wall, also the adapter uses for the kettle seemed faulty, the kettle didn't work. The staff man came to sort, but just swapped to the other socket, the kettle did then work. But, I think the lamp bulb shorted because of it! Slightly worrying fire safety wise. Kettle is very near bed too, was a bit concerned knock it off, maybe would be better where the TV is. A little fold down table, and chair may be useful in kitchen, otherwise eating in bedroom.

I just stayed there for one night to take the ferry to Dublin. It is very close to the train station and the port. It is a small room and has everything one needs. The owner was very nice.

The room has no window and you can hear everything. For me, it was okay, but I would not recommend it to people with a light sleep.
