Good location to run around the river

Comfortable furniture with a nice kitchen area. The grocery store was a short half mile walk and there were a number of cafes nearby to get something to eat or have a drink if you wanted to. The apartment was close to both trolley lines which was great for getting around.

The location is nice. Walking by the river one can reach the old town within 30 and the Atlantic Ocean within one hour. There is as well a good connection to the public transport and there are restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket. The apartment has a nice size and seemed clean upon arrival. The host was friendly until the payment was done. There is a kitchen with equipment for cooking and there have even been some coffee pads and teabags. The host has prepared some useful information about recommended places where to eat.

When it came to sleeping, it was impossible. Around midnight the glass containers outside would be emptied very loudly. Cars would pull up to stop underneath the window letting the motor run and since there seem to be more rented apartments in the building doors would be smacked at night. Not possible to sleep with windows open as on ground floor and someone might climb inside. But the worst was for me the mold in the cupboard which made it impossible to breath / sleep in the bedroom. Made my throat ache. It became so bad that I had to try to sleep on the little couch in the living room. The host did not react to my message about it. As well as there had been no reply to my question about what to do since ants had started to take over the kitchen and I had not seen an info what to do with the rubbish.

The apartment was very modern and comfortable with a nice bright bathroom.

The apartment was on the ground floor, with no view, facing a wall covered with graffiti!
