it was clean inside.

The outside of the property needed to be swept and cleaned. it looked dirty and unwelcoming. Although we didn’t use the washing machine, a rotary line outside would be useful. Also it the downstairs bathroom it smelled very damp. We were lucky with parking and although a pass was supplied spaces are very limited.

The property was very clean inside, and the little touches ie, shower and hair cleaning products, tea and coffee (no milk) washing up liquid were appreciated. The little kitchen is well equipped, and hot water runs quickly Though it was difficult to park the permit for one car worked very well.

Whilst the property states suitable for 4 persons its too small, the sofa seats two and is very uncomfortable. No other leisure seating available. The ensuite downstairs is tiny, and has damp issues.The front door lock needs replacing as it takes an age to open and then secure. Whilst the property is immediately next to a lovely park the location is like coronation street. The entrance to the property needs a tidy, as this is your first impression upon arrival

Location was great, having a parking spot was good although we really needed a second parking space as there were two couples staying - one car ended up parked 10 mins walk away. The shared sitting area and kitchen was useful. Everything worked and the arrival instructions and local info provided were very good.

Upstairs loft bedroom and bathroom are laughably badly designed with sloping ceilings in every aspect meaning it is nigh on impossible to stand up straight in either the bedroom or the bathroom unless you put your head out of the skylight. Might be OK for kids. No shower in the upstairs bath - but then its impossible to stand up in the bath anyway!! Cleanliness e.g. of the toilets, was average at best The small turning circle and the park next door seem to be routinely used for drug deals.

View was good

The path into the property was overgrown with weeds and the path, steps and terrace area needed sweeping, also patio furniture was filthy. In fact the outside area was disgraceful. First impressions not good! Dirty towels in the washing machine Frying pan full of used cooking oil and a bread roll left in a filthy cooking oven. Cover missing off of the gas boiler Dirty cleaning cloths left on the sink drainer. Sky light blind broken in the bathroom Mould in the shower room. Overall not good. We spoke to Gemma about these issues and she promptly visited and dealt with the cleaning complaints and left wine, chocolates and flowers and a card as an apology. As highlighted by previous guests, a larger dinning table, coffee table and more comfortable settee are all required for four people.
