Spacious 4 Bed Villa with BBQ, Pool & Parking Grand Baie

Nice property and lots of room. One upstairs bedroom needs black out curtains in windows. Early morning light can be too much for some

1) Cleanliness - just outside the gate couldn’t miss a huge pothole full of water and making the drive muddy which easily gets carried in the house. Very poorly maintained access road. We had to upgrade our rented vehicle as a 4x4. 2) Facilities - fridge became faulty after our second day and despite informing them. It never got resolved. We had to throw almost everything that we bought as food fridge item. We were not provided with clean linen for 15 days. Dirty towels were left in the laundry basket - probably from previous staycation. 3) Location - misleading, incorrect and deceiving advertising making us believe that property is in Reservoir Road ( checked location before booking on Google maps). It’s actually situated in the side street of Sottise Road, towards Vale. Not a walking distance from beaches. We only found this out few days before our arrival. 4) We felt that it wasn’t value for money and had to make amends ourselves to improve our stay. Standards were below average.

Nous nous sommes perdu en arrivant car nous n’avons pas eu l’adresse complète nous avons tourner en rond pendant 2 heures avant d’avoir la bonne adresse, une piscine chauffée aurait été mieux et il manque des tapis devant les douches et des torchons dans la cuisine

The property was a good size, close to everything, but far enough out to provide peace. The family really enjoyed the swimming pool.

The property had not yet been cleaned when we arrived, so we were met with the previous tenant's mess and dirty beds.The kitchen lacks a baking tray and hot pads, so you can't comfortably use the oven. Only skillets, no sauce pans. No kitchen towels to dry dishes, your hands, or the countertop after washing dishes. There was also no broom or dustpan to clean up after yourself.

The location is great — three beautiful beaches and a supermarket all within 15 minutes drive made day-to-day life convenient. The villa had a nice pool, which was regularly cleaned, and the gardener came twice a week too.

We experienced two electrical faults in the house during one week. The first one took most of the power out downstairs when we tried to switch on a light. The second one happened during a huge thunderstorm, which took out all the power upstairs. Both required an electrician to fix. To their credit, the host/agency were very responsive, and the repair team was helpful and friendly, but it did impact our experience and added stress and worry to our stay. The villa itself is big and spacious but could use some improvement, e.g., not all the plug sockets in the kitchen worked, nor all the light switches in the main bedroom. There was no information provided about rubbish collection or what to do with bin bags (none were provided, btw), which was frustrating. There was a cleaning visit halfway through our stay, which was appreciated, but basic things like toilet paper weren’t replenished, so we ended up buying some. These issues in and of themselves weren't enormous, but added up and were representative of the villa experience in general. Overall, the stay had potential to be great, and I want to stress accessibility of the hosts/agency to queries and problems, but over the two weeks a few too many issues added up to not be able to give a better rating.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! It was impeccably maintained, secure, nice setup, beautiful deco and spotlessly clean. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, making our stay even more comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent, with quick responses and efficient support from the maintenance team whenever needed. Although our stay was short just three nights with family. We truly enjoyed every moment.

There was nothing to dislike, everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

The private pool was a fantastic addition, allowing us to relax and enjoy family time in privacy. The villa was conveniently located near beautiful beaches and the lively town of Grand Baie. It was fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with a kitchen stocked with essentials like a fridge, microwave, plates, and saucepans, making it easy to cook meals. Laundry facilities were also available, which added to the convenience. For cozy, rainy days, the villa even had a TV with Netflix, a nice touch that kept everyone entertained. We truly felt at home here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a functional, family-friendly villa in Mauritius.
