There was no breakfast. The gentleman was checked me in was pleasant but the place seemed to be unfinished. Location was fine as it was on the right side of Limerick for the airport.

There was no breakfast. Kitchen was open to make tea or coffee as no facilities in the room. It was not up to my standard. The bathroom was not ensuite so I had the hassle of having to lock my room door each time I went to the bathroom. I didn't have a dressing gown with me so had to be fully dressed to leave the room to go to the bathroom and back again. I was the only woman in the building which seemed to have a lot of people coming and going. The worse bit was at about midnight some one was banging and shouting at the front door. I don't scare easily but it was an unpleasant experience. There was no one around when I checked out so I just left as I had prepaid. I will not be staying there again and I cannot in all honesty recommend this property

This property is off the beaten path but still only a short distance into Limerick. The host is kind and friendly. The room we stayed in was very large, with a sitting area, comfortable bed, high quality linens and a private en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is available for cooking and was easy to navigate. If you enjoy staying in a casual and homey guesthouse this is a great choice.

Gerard was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay at this place again 😊

We had a fantastic time at Kitty O’Shea. Gerald was a super kind and thoughtful host who made us feel incredibly welcome. The place has so much charm, and the beds were hands down the best we’ve slept in during our entire time in Ireland—absolutely comfortable!

Gerald was a kind host and tried to make me and my family feel welcomed. The beds were super comfy. One of the rooms we stayed in had its own bathroom.

The location is a bit outside the city and a little remote (can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for). The house is still under construction, has shared living spaces, and most of the bedrooms don't have private baths. I was traveling with my daughter, wife, and mother-in-law and the women were very uncomfortable with the as we didn't realize the host lives in the house and had several other male tenants staying there during our stay. Also, our rooms were on the opposite sides of the house as my mother-in-law could not lock her door as there was no key in her door. Just a few notes for future stays for Gerald.

Nothing!! The place was dreadful and shouldn't be used as a guest house, it's dirty and dangerous, see below...

Everything!! The photos on the property profile show a nice clean guest house which looks appealing, the reality was completely different! The state of the house was disgraceful, it was undergoing refurbishment and everything was covered in builder's dust. The kitchen was filthy, the fridge was dirty with open packs of food stored in it, there was even a dirty frying pan on the hob as well as spilled fried egg on the actual hob which hadn't been cleaned. There were empty wine and beer bottles and glasses around the house as well as used latex gloves (not sure what they were used for). Towels were spread over the table drying. There were bits of floor missing in the kitchen, cables hanging from the ceiling (including one of the bathroom ceilings!) and from one of the walls. The bathrooms were dirty, covered in builder's dust and hadn't been cleaned for some time. There were bottles of cleaning products and other chemical products spilling out of a storage space which is not safe, particularly if you have children with you. We left the place early as it was horrendous and when I told the owner we weren't staying he was in total denial that there was a problem.
