he apartment is very close to amenities, walking distance, but if you intend on coming back with a few bags and need a taxi. be careful as the owners will offer a family member whom will over charge you. i was charged 160 ecd for a journey that should have only cost 100 ecd max.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this property. The owners informed me that they had received a noise complaint from neighbours at around 10am and immediately assumed that I was responsible, without any proper discussion or evidence. The situation escalated when the owner’s wife arrived at the property and confronted me in an aggressive and hostile manner, despite the fact that I was already communicating with her husband about the issue. She proceeded to threaten to call the police because I did not accept responsibility for something I did not do, even stating that she had “seen the police arrest people for less.” At that point, I no longer felt safe or welcome in the property. As a result, I made the decision to pack my belongings and leave early, despite being in town to attend a friend’s wedding as the best man. I contacted my friends, who arranged a taxi for me to relocate. When the taxi arrived, the owner’s wife falsely accused me of smoking in the property to the driver and even contacted the wedding planner to repeat the same claim. I found this behaviour extremely unprofessional and unnecessary, and it felt like a deliberate attempt to cause further issues. I ended up leaving just 3 days into a 10-day booking. After leaving, I realised I had accidentally left some valuable items behind. I contacted the owner in an attempt to resolve the situation and arrange collection, as I did not feel comfortable returning to the property. Despite this, and even though I had returned the keys on the day I left, the owners were unwilling to cooperate or reach an amicable resolution.

The location was great. Quiet area, walking distance from the shopping centre and beach. The host was very helpful and accommodating. He showed us around on the first day, ordered taxi and answered all questions that I had.

The studio apartment is very small. The lighting is poor. The bed sheet was worn out. A flat sheet was tied at the four corners to serve as a fitted sheet. Only one small blanket was left, I had to request another though the apartment was booked for two persons. I was given an additional blanket but another worn out flat sheet. Only got two towels for the two of us for four days.
