The host was responsive and changed out the battery of the beeping smoke alarm. He also gave us the option of whether or not we wanted to do it or for himself to do it, which we asked for him to replace the battery. The air conditioner was helpful as it did feel balmy there. The area near and around the house was very pretty and seemed safe.

The place was extremely dirty. There was mold in/on the bathroom shelf where the extra toilet paper and towels were. The sink where the overflow holes are had significant debris in them and was quite unseemly. There was food or other unknown debris on the garbage can top and edges. The living room mini blinds were so dusty and grimy that we didn't want to move them as it would have been a dust bowl, as were the kitchen chair/stool bases. The stove did not look well cleaned as there was crusty material on the top and handles. The microwave interior had what looked like mold, but not sure exactly what it was there. A strange clump of hair was on the small rug in the bedroom when we arrived, which was unnerving. The bed was tight against the wall and was difficult to get in/out of for my spouse. Not to be nit-picky, but this was advertised as a luxury place and some of the areas appeared cracked or unfinished. The overall decor was dusty and not up-to date. Also, the yard was definitelynot as the picture online was displaying, but that wasn't as big an issue as the lack of cleanliness. Parking was challenging at times. If this was a clean space, it would have been a much better experience.

It was definitely good value for money.
