Vi l'Art Wine Lodge - Only Adults

My wife and I liked our stay at Vi l'Art Wine Lodge very much. This beautiful setting in the tranquil countryside has it all. I could write a novel about all the positive impressions, so I’ll just name a few from the top of my head: Laura and Lalo are the most welcoming hosts; the house is beautifully decorated, full of antiquities and unique pieces of furniture from all over the world; beautiful patio with a priceless view of Montserrat mountines; cozy pool to refresh after a long day in Barcelona; excellent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice… I would certainly return to this place without hasitation when revisiting the area.

This is not a negative impression, but a piece of advice to all those who plan to visit during summer 2024. The best way to travel to Barcelona is to take the R4 train from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia which would take you directly to Plaça de Catalunya, except it doesn’t. Due to ongoing works on the railway the R4 stops at L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and then you have to switch to R1 or metro. It’s a minor inconvenience which I thought I’d share with all those making commuting plans in advance, such as I did. Of course this has nothing to do Laura and Lalo’s place.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Laura and Lalo were extremely welcoming and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The Argentinian steak dinner was delicious and we hope to return soon and hopefully stay for longer! There is a lot to explore in the area, so we would strongly recommend this place to all travellers.

Quiet, remote with nice views, open spaces for relaxing, inviting pool

Laura & Lalo are very exceptional, very welcoming and professional. We had a wine tasting evening for us alone, they are experts and introduced us to the proper wine tasting with a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm. We also had dinner which was very rich and good. All in all we have had a very good time.

Charming house surrounded by nature and gorgeous views of the Montserrat mountains. Perfect to go on walks around vineyards. Laura and Lalo are the best hosts you could hope for, warm and welcoming. We also got to enjoy delicious gourmet dinners and excellent wine. Already looking forward to return to this special place.

Lalo and Laura provide not just accomodation but a real experience. The lodge is in a beautiful area, and we loved the ambience, the quirky creative decorations, and the unique touches. We had access to a lovely communal lounge, kitchen, and dining room. We booked an evening meal, and this was outstanding. Don't miss Lalo's cooking, and Laura's homemade jams provided as part of breakfast. It was in easy driving distance to Barcelona and near the beautiful Monserrst area If you want something a bit different and slightly off the beaten track, I would highly recommend this lodge.

We had a lovely stay with Laura and Lalo. Their kindness and hospitality will make you feel right at home. Whether you're seeking relaxation in this little piece of paradise or exploring the Montserrat region near Barcelona, it's the perfect place.  Nearby, you'll find many monasteries and unique places to explore as you meditate. And if you feel like immersing yourself in the city buzz, Barcelona is within reach.  Thank you both for everything, and please continue to take care of this place.

Laura and Lalo at Vi l'Art Wine Lodge made our Easter 2024 and my 45th birthday unforgettable. Their warmth, fantastic food, and exquisite wine turned our stay into a slice of paradise. Very quiet place. Nature is around

Because unlikely we got room on right side at the first floor above the kitchen- and we couldn’t sleep till night (they have to clean up the kitchen) and they wake us up in the morning because they have to prepare breakfast. We are yogi people and like to go sleep early and wake up early as well. They asked deposit- what unconditional for most of the hotels. And by mistake we broke fens. We have to pay extra. And in the beginning they asked money to show some bill. But luckily we called insurance company and my boyfriend solved the issue with insurance company.

We were welcomed so warmly by Laura & Lalo. The house is lovely and we were given free run of the lounge, dining area, terrace & garden. It is serenely quiet, up a rough track with pine woods & vineyards around. The food cooked by Lalo was utterly delicious - nothing was too much trouble We I chose this place as a walking destination & were advised of walking routes & found some lovely walks to Piera & the Codorniu cava winery. Laura & Lalo are the warmest, friendliest & most helpful couple you could hope to meet - we couldn’t have asked for more! THANK YOU!
