Stylish Apartment - Fast WiFi - Netflix - On Street Parking 1BR

The apartment is extremely comfortable, beautifully kept-up, well-equipped (excellent kitchen, washing machine etc), and in a very pleasant part of Birmingham - quiet, but just a short walk from King's Heath High Street. We received very quick and helpful responses to our telephone questions (no, the Wifi code is not 'behind' the router, it's one of the long numbers at the bottom...)

The Wifi was mostly fine, but a couple of times we lost BBC I-player, and it didn't always extend to the kitchen. We weren't particularly impressed by the demand for photo ID to be uploaded on booking, although in practice a driving license image with the number taped over wasn't queried. The reasoning is apparently to guarantee that the person occupying the property is the same as the person who paid for the stay, which it clearly doesn't, as we never saw anyone from the agency at any point. No regrets about our stay, but we wouldn't normally bother to book somewhere making these kinds of demands (especially as we had not only paid fully in advance, but left the £150 deposit required).

The apartment was beautiful and in a prime location, just a short walk from plenty of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, which made everything super convenient. The only small downsides were that the bed could have been more comfortable and the TV remote was a bit faulty. Overall, a great place to stay!
