Dalaman Apart House & Hôtel- Vacance , Ozgün Deniz Sitesi No 5

The apartment was absolutely spotless. The owners were very welcoming and went above and beyond by kindly showing us where we could buy some groceries and have breakfast in the morning. We were very grateful for that. The pool was a touch of heaven! Our first evening and the first time in many years since I’ve swam at midnight 🤣 It was lovely after a hot and long journey.

Well, it’s stating the obvious, as it is very near the airport and next to a busy road, that it’s noisy. It didn’t help that next door had cockerels crowing in the early hours. I didn’t care as I sleep through anything, but my companion suffered. If it was in a better location for a holiday I would book it for longer next time. The only other thing to mention is we mistakenly thought we had data roaming set up for turkey on our mobiles, but it wasn’t working. We couldn’t contact the owners and when eventually I resorted to calling (at £2 a minute) the owner spoke no English (he’s French) to help with directions. We found it eventually, but thought we were going to be spending the night in the car and was a bit traumatic for over an hour and a half driving round in circles.

The property was great; it was clean, has AC, WiFi, a TV, all the amenities needed to cook, clean the clothes and iron them, and even has a great swimming pool!

Postion on Google maps is not accurate

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming apartment in Dalaman, Turkey, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel incredibly welcome. Their hospitality was unparalleled—they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The owner was always available to offer recommendations and assist with any queries we had, making our stay stress-free.

The only comment we have is that Dalaman itself has limited attractions. While it’s a beautiful and serene location, a car is essential to fully explore the nearby cities, towns, and sightseeing spots. Places like Fethiye, Marmaris, and Dalyan are within easy driving distance and offer a wealth of activities and attractions.

We loved the spaciousness, the open plan kitchen and the terrace. The pool was almost always empty and we could feel what an own pool feels like. Also the owner is super friendly and helpful even though we had to use a translator to understand each other (he spoke french and we english). Everything worked perfectly despite the language differences. A lovely addition is that the neighbor has a small chicken farm which made the whole stay feel like we are having a break from the big city life. Also there are frequent visitors at the terrace the 4 sometimes 5 young cats. They made us feel like home because we also own a cat and one looked exactly like ours. I guess if you travel to turkey you better like animals specially cats and dogs because they are everywhere. We love them, so for us it was a great addition to be able to connect with some animals including the chickens and the one single Duck who oversees the place. Overall everything was great except just a few minor things. Highly recommended owner! If you want to enjoy a calm holiday without distractions this is a good place for that (but don’t forget you will need to drive like 100km to get to a more touristy place) The city itself Dalaman is very local and I need ti say its hard to get around with English. Use translators!

The utensils in kitchen could have been more clean - the forks and knifes were dirty so we had to wash everything before we wanted to use them.

The location was perfect for us. It’s on the ground floor right next to the pool. It was well furnished and had everything you need for a home from home stay and it was spotlessly clean. We met the owners who are so lovely and they made our stay perfect. We will definitely be returning.

The apartment was clean and new inside. All the essentials we needed were provided, which was very much appreciated after arriving during the night with three young children. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The process was easy and convenient to collect and leave the keys. Good experience!
