La Casa de las Aves - Architect's House/ Amazing view & garden

Comfortable, modern, everything I needed. Responsive management.

Cold, there was a small space heater. It’s a good 25 minute walk to the center of town. The walk back mostly uphill.

We got a great explanation through WhatsApp with instructions to get to the stay. The code worked well to get in, but we were also able to use the key. We could park our car in the garage. The kitchen had everything we need to make your own food. Wifi was perfect as well. Comfortable bed and warm shower!

The location is 20 minute from the centre. The neighbourhood is dark, but very friendly and no mean dogs. The street is very narrow which was tricky to navigate with the car. I also thought the room came with a balcony according to the pictures, but there are three different rooms. So sadly we didn’t got the view. There is some karaoke in the neighborhood. We hoped that it would’ve been more quiet because we were out of the city center.

Wir mussten durch ein Fenster klettern bei unserer ankunft weil uns NIEMAND auf unsere BEZAHLTE Buchung zurückgeschrieben hat und wir somit keinen Schlafplatz gehabt hätten! Also kann man als externer locker einsteigen in das haus! Eine ehemalige Bewohnerin die wir zufällig getroffen haben hat uns den Türcode für den Haupteingang verraten und dann sind wir durchs fenster eingestiegen! Es hat sich niemand wirklich entschuldigt ausser einer kleinen „i am sorry“ nachricht und auf unsere Whats App Nachrichten gemeldet hat sich sowieso niemand! Es war jede nacht total laut und gruselig! Ich konnte nie schlafen! Und wir sind das hostelleben gewohnt! Die schöne wohnung macht das alles leider wirklich auch nicht mehr gut! Da kann man sein geld besser investieren!

The place is comfortable and spacious, the view of San Cristobal de las Casas from the terrace is captivating, the owners very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every moment.

Maybe a little more small things in the kitchen to prepare easy breakfasts, not a big deal but it can add a lot more value :).

Very nice and clean place to stay with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. A beautiful balcony with a nice view over the city. Housekeeping was so friendly to do some of our laundry. Nice walk to the city centre. Host was more than helpfull with providing information.

Spectacular views over the city, really beautiful, clean and comfortable place, kitchen was really well equipped, Diego gave us lots of information on what to do around San Cristóbal and was always available to answer questions, a nice walk into town and away from the noise of the streets. Would definitely stay again
