Walliswood Lodge - Wood Burner, Air Con & Wi-fi, Rural Retreat

Was a very pleasant place. Nice and quiet, the lady who owns it greated us on arrival she was very nice a polite. The cabin had everything and was very well presented and clean. Throughly enjoyed our stay there amd would highly recommend.

Was impossible to get a cab from there, which has nothing to do with the rental of the place. Uber wouldn't accept it, and all the local firms said they only did airport runs.

We had a beautiful stay at this lodge. Everything was clean to a very high standard and it felt like a home away from home. The log burner was an added bonus and we really enjoyed using it 😊 we would definitely stay here again and highly recommended to anyone considering!

I stayed at Walliswood Lodge to attend a wedding at the nearby Somersbury Barn. The lodge was beautiful, extremely clean and in a lovely setting in the countryside. Toni the host was brilliant and went the extra mile to ensure I was able to drop-off my bags and actually check-in early in the end as I had an early start at the wedding. It was lovely to meet Toni at the lodge who made me feel very welcome. The lodge itself comes with other great features too such as a log burner, air conditioning (which worked well and was needed with the hot weather!), tea, coffee and milk, great Wi-Fi and lots more! It is comfortable and feels very homely.

I find it really hard to find any faults with my stay here. The only tiny thing I'd suggest is for a sign for the lodge to be added at the end of the drive as the cottage has a different name on the road and this made me a little uncertain whether I was pulling into the right place. With no phone signal here it is difficult to double check too. Everything else was perfect!

It was in a really lovely rural location and very peaceful. The property was very spacious and tastefully decorated. It had everything you needed and host was very friendly and accommodating.
