Stadium View Apartments – 2 Bedroom Cardiff City Retreat

The beds were comfy, and the apartment was clean.

It took a very long time (approx an hour) to get the access codes on arrival. We booked last minute and I had to find a scan of my passport and send it over, then once I had done that they also required a photo of my driving licence and send it over. It then took approx 30 minutes to give us the entry code. When we got in we found the bedroom layouts did not match the phottographs with the listing. The listing clearly showed two twin beds in one room, and a double in the other. What was actually there was a double and a single in one room, and another single in a tiny bedroom. Also for the first 24hrs the wifi didn't work (I reported it as soon as we arrived). We couldn't get the hob to work and there were no instructions left (I think the fuse to it has blown). Finally, if you like pigeons, stay here. Don't open the windows unless you want a pigeon in your bedroom at 5am. The apartent was clearly derelict and occupied by pigeons before it was (very nicely) done up, but pigeons have a very strong homing instinct and they spent the entire of our stay sitting on the window ledges outside of the windows. Twice during our stay we found them in bedroom!!!!

Smelled of mold. Kitchen faucet was loose. Front door difficult to open handle was loose and door jams had cracks. No address on outside of building. Booked for bathtub and there was no bathtub. Said 2 bedroom and had pictures with king in one room and two twins in the other - there was only one twin in 2nd bedroom and the other twin in room with the king (actually two twin beds pushed together). Parking very difficult to find / not what they told us, said it was easy. No closet to use and no wardrobe. Only one little mirror in the entire unit. No toilet paper roll holder. No safe - just a small box that looked like a safe and it didn’t work and even if it did work you could pick it up and walk off with it. We had to stay one night of our three weeks as they said they would try to find us another place and they did not. Not at all what we expected very disappointed.

Good value for money, beds were comfy and had all we needed for a basic stay.

Building door and apartment door were temperamental - building door sometimes just didn't open, apartment door needed a kick to actually open and didn't look particularly secure once inside. TV didn't work, just needs firestick or chromecast so people can actually use it. Kettle needs replacing. Bathroom stunk from the mop that had been left in there.

The apartment was good size for our family

The property was made up of multiple apartments and the apartment next to us was very noisy and scary into the night, didn’t feel safe in or around our property
