Dream Beach Kubu & SPA by ABM

Position was great and good value for money .

The outside bathroom needs tidying up . But generally ok

People who work there are truly lovely. Location also good, just little walk to great Yoga place, dream beach and restaurants.

It looks better on the pictures than it really is. Mold everywhere, in air con, bathroom, fridge. Bungalows very close together and walls are thin…neighbors burn dry grass like it’s no one’s business 🤦‍♀️ and my room was filled with smoke; I run out and it looked like forest fire approaching…also the room is very tiny and it smells off when after rain (probably because of grass roofing) Generally everything about this hotel is “ok” “bearable” but nothing is great. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We loved it all. The staff were fantastic the food was great the location was also good. Nothing was a problem for the staff.

The location, the staff, and they have the best coffee on the island. Plenty of awesome places to eat along the street. You must try the smoothie bowls at Cookies. 10 minute scooter ride to Cenigan Island and Mahana Point for surfing and snorkelling. Laundry only a 1 minute walk. Refresh Spa is right across the road offering a wide variety of massages etc. Did I mention that Kubu have the best coffee on the island. Their menu is also good too.

There were, I think, long term residents staying there. They had three dogs. I am a dog lover. Do not get me wrong. But they did take their job seriously with two of the dogs bailing us all up when we either entered or exited the premises. This was quite confronting, and we found that the owners were annoyed with us being annoyed with their dogs, which is totally understandable.
