escVACA - Your Stay in Mui Ne

I would stay there again. I loath booking.com at the best of times, so when I find a place, I go back to it rather than endure disappointment trying elsewhere. Either that or I book 1 night to check it out 1st, then add on if its good. This place has it's own style, which I like and it's conveniently located for what I wanted. I like the bungalows, and the bathroom is spotless, huge and designer organic in style.

There is singing front and back; the back you don't hear as the bathroom door shuts the noise out, however, the house opposite has a karaoke fetish. I was trying to watch a film one evening when she started, and I felt like I had to sit through a party that I wasn't invited to! It was 8.20 pm, and apparently she stops at 10pm, so i said to the owner that it's not on. I got a headache trying to listen to my film and have her drowning out my entire private space. The owner acted and in fairness to them, they stopped, immediately, so you can't ask for better than that. That said, I never understand why they have to sing so selfishly loud. The world might not want to listen, someone may be ill, dying even, or needing their sleep. Vietnams Achilles Heel! My only other wonder was on arrival, when I went to sit on the loo I slid off WITH the seat. It wasn't at all fixed to the porcelain, lol. Surely the cleaner would notice that when lifting it to clean. When I lifted it, the whole thing came off in my hand, so I cant fathom how it got to that stage without someone saying something. No big deal though, he came in and fixed it, hand tight, as with everything in Vietnam. Pillows, too thick for me, but others may be ok with it.

The Bungalow is spacious, well-designed, well-equipped with modern facilities I really like the garden with many tropical plants. Receptionists are friendly, flexible and helpful. The atmosphere here is peaceful and fresh. The location is central and convenient.
