"Durbanites stay @103 on 22 Loop Street."

The location and safe parking. The extra towels.

Cape town being extremely hot which is out of your control which i do understand.Installing an aircondioner would help tremendously.A softer higher mattress would also be good because when i sit on the bed,my legs get hurt on the wooden base that holds the mattress.Tint the lounge glass because on the 16 of March a lady at Puchulic kept staring at us continuously for over an hour after working hours(after 5pm)At first we thought it was a maniquin until she moved her head after staring at us for 30minutes.Crazy but true.

"So much waiting and so little help."

5.0

It doesn't try hard to be anything it isn't. It's a good place to lay your head and have a good time around town. It is very central. There is a lot of shops and because it is very well placed in town security is ample. There were some pretty good books also.

I wish there was a clearer indication that there is a security deposit. You must be super aware of this. The fridge was not working in my room and I wish this was communicated to me and a possible refund done. A refund option was provided but I was told I'd only get it in 14 days! Honestly just take the room off of booking while you fix the fridge. I was also made to wait in car garage with a sleeping baby for hours over some forms that were not well communicated even though I had provided many forms of communication. Lastly I found it disturbing that I was asked to provide the birth certificate of a two year old as proof of him staying there, that is very sensetive information very different to an adult's ID. If they say they will call back at the call centre, just call back yourself after 5 minutes for your own peace of mind. Just one kind lady who gave me constantly information and called back regularly. (I regrettably forgot her name)

The staff at the reception were really friendly.

Stayed for 5 nights, didn't have a working fridge, despite having reported it. Had to throw out all my purchased foodstuff. Unit had no dishcloths or broom. When I enquired about it, I was told that it is not a basic ammenity. So my question is, am I supposed to purchase this and then travel with it? Unit 401 had a chronic weedsmoker (apparently a permanent renter), so , with no ventilation in the passage, the smell was crazy in Unit 403. We had to sleep with our windows open at night, which, in turn caused very little sleep as it is a busy part of town and with open windows the noise was not condusive to a good night's rest. The white blinds were so dirty. It was obvious the person who had cleaned it only did the bottom and where it cdnt be reached, it was just left. As a platform, I shudder to think that Booking.com is allowing this place on their platform. I in Cape Town often, and it was the first time we used your platform to book in the Cape. I think I will, however, be using AirB&B again as their places are clearly vetted and has all amenities needed for a family travelling. I hv certainly never had to buy a broom or a dishcloth. It has always bn spotlessly clean and always had every appliance working. Very disappointed in the fact that I could only communicate via WhatsApp (with a different person everyday) and the answers were mostly snide and sarcastic as if I was a dunce! Bye bye Booking.com!
