Spacious bungalow Air con & Wi-fi

Clean, tidy, very well equipped and largely very spacious for a cosy bungalow. Rose was very welcoming and there were some essentials provided and grateful received. Really appreciated the added extras for the dogs and the space outside for their convenience.

The bungalow was warm and welcoming - excellent central heating. The bathroom is large and the shower is powerful. It is within reach of three bus routes to go into Bexhill, Hastings or as far as Eastbourne. It was v good to have a bin for vegetable scraps and tea bags so that they could be composted rather than put in the bin.

It would be good to have clear details in the house manual about which buses go where and how to reach the bus stop. Also, advice beforehand about how to access the property on foot/by bus from Bexhill Railway Station - possibly with the info about how to access the key to the property. (Googlemaps ignores the fact that there is no pavement on part of the road between the station and the house - whereas there is in fact a safe way to walk.) Booking.com's format covers planes, taxis and private cars but in fact plenty of people use the train and prefer to walk where possible.

It was warm, comfortable and beautifully finished. It was full of light and felt very roomy. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful but respected our privacy.

Home from home. High quality accommodation. Great communications. Super homely. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Will definitely return when visiting my family. Great outdoor area for our pooch to chill.
