A68 - Palmeiras Paz Apartment

Het appartement is ruim en alles is aanwezig. Het heeft een heerlijk zwembad. De ligging t.o.v. het oude centrum en de zee is prima. Alles op loopafstand. In de buurt van het appartement zitten een paar erg goede restaurants en de supermarkt is om de hoek. Fijn groot balkon waar je een groot deel van de dag ook schaduw hebt.

Er is een code om binnen te komen en voor het binnenzwembad die beide niet werkte. Handdoeken en toiletpapier summier. Al eerder genoemd maar is ook echt zo. Boek met info was niet helemaal up to date. Afstandsbediening van zowel Tv als 1 van de airco’s werkte niet. Alles gemeld bij het kantoor wat de zaken behartigd maar behalve dat er vriendelijk werd geknikt gebeurde er verder niet zoveel.

Peu de papier de toilette pour 6 jours, matelas des lits peu confortables selon nous, pas de linge à mains dans la cuisine

The location of the property was great, a 5 min walk to the old town. The apartment was spacious and quiet

There were a number of negatives. Damp patches on the wall, very uncomfortable mattresses and single beds, which can’t be pushed together and used as a double. The apartment lacked basic supplies, only 2 towels and no bath mat, 2 low quality toilet rolls, no toiletries not even a bar of hand soap, no kitchen supplies - washing up liquid, paper towels, condiments etc. Main issue was the outdoor swimming pool which was undergoing repair and not available to use, we weren’t notified about this in advance of our arrival. When I contacted the rental office they said it wasn’t their responsibility. Also you have to collect your key from the office, a 10 minute walk to the apartment, and if you arrive after 4 pm you have to pay extra !!

Die Lage ist super, Nähe zum Zentrum und den Stränden, Supermarkt und Restaurants um die Ecke, auch ohne Auto flexibel mit Bus und Bahn (Bahnhof 10 min. entfernt)

Wegen Flugverspätung sind wir 1 Tag später kurz vor 13 Uhr im Office angekommen, sollten aber um 15 Uhr wiederkommen, um den Schlüssel zu erhalten, es sei jetzt Mittagspause, erst nach längerer Diskussion hat uns dann die ausgesprochen unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin den Schlüssel ausgehändigt. . . Wir waren 3 Wochen im Apartment. In dieser Zeit wurden Handtücher und Bettwäsche nur 1 x gewechselt und auch erst nach nochmaliger Erinnerung, obwohl zu Beginn 2 „cleaning appointments“ vereinbart wurden.
