West Beck House Newcastle - Spacious Double Room

The room was lovely and had everything in that I needed. Was very spacious and even had a settee and coffee table in which I thought was great touch!

Didn't like the room entrance being in the kitchen which was a communal area

We liked the fact that there was a designated smoking area, as other places normally don't provide that! Also the bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in, 5 stars! The Netflix was a great addition, such a treat to watch comfort shows after a long day. The people we met were lovely, and there was a very nice atmosphere, felt right at home! Definitely recommend this place, and I will 100% be booking here again if I'm ever in the area!!

No complaints whatsoever. Only thing is that I wish I stayed longer!

The room and place in general was done to a high standard, very clean, bed very comfy. They left bicoff biscuits next to coffee etc by the kettle which was really nice. As a frequent visitor to the North East ill certainly be checking their availability first on future visits. Thank you.

Large, comfortable with a very good double bed, settee and TV with coffee and tea facilities in a quiet and very pleasant location. Bathroom facilities were excellent though shared. Nice kitchen, easy access and good communications from the host. Outstanding VFM!

Room itself was nice

The kitchen area entrance hall Amelia bit dam, the kitchen ceiling had a large area where water had come through and looked damp this could be the cause of the smell

Great value for money. Great room, with a really comfortable bed and pillows. Tidy and clean throughout the room, kitchen and bedroom.

Only downside is that the house is on a popular road, but if you can get over the traffic noise, this is an excellent choice. I have multiple bookings here and would definitely recommend.

Good location with easy access to public transport. Everything was as described - clean facilities with access to shared kitchen and bathroom. Kettle with tea and coffee in room was nice touch. Bed comfortable.

The road outside was quite loud throughout the night. I was provided some lovely towels but they were damp when I arrived to the room which is potentially an oversight but a bit off putting.
