What a truly amazing place! Sean has created a wonderful oasis of natural charm and beauty that is a great place to stay. The charming, colonial accommodation, excellent food, beautiful pool and the wonderful garden surroundings make this such a special place. Sean and his resident chef Elizabeth are unrivalled in their hospitality, friendliness and genuine care for their guests. Within minutes of arriving we felt like long lost friends and we sincerely hope to return one day. The breakfasts freshly prepared by Elizabeth every morning are so delicious and varied, giving you an excellent start to the day. Everything about our stay was perfect and we frankly could not recommend it highly enough.

"We enjoyed Melaka but on our next visit would stay closer to the centre"

A disappointing location in a rundown end of town. Access after dark was extremely tricky.

L’accueil chaleureux, la bienveillance du personnel, la localisation à 15 min à pied du centre, la magnifique piscine, le petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux.

Manque de shampoing et après shampoing, les produits d’hygiène mis à disposition sont limités.

"Een perfecte plek om tot rust te komen."

De eigenaren van Casugria Dutch Residence 1810 zijn ontzettend aardig en warmhartig met een fijne verwelkoming en een gezellig praatje. Ook was de kamer voorzien van alle luxe. Het ontbijt dat iedere dag vers klaar gemaakt wordt, was het lekkerste die wij de hele vakantie gehad hebben en werd met trots en liefde uitgelegd door de eigenaar. Bij het zwembad kan je helemaal tot rust komen. Het huis is een oud Nederlands gebouw dat helemaal in de stijl van de stad past en is goed onderhouden met een groene tuin en lounge plek.

Eine gute Unterkunft in einem Haus, das ehemals dem Gouverneur von Malacca gehörte. Bei nur 4 zur Verfügung stehenden Zimmern kann der Service etwas mehr persönlich orientiert sein, die Eigentümer sind hierbei sehr proaktiv. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich. Es gibt einen Garten und einen Pool. Etwas abseits aber doch in der Zentrumsnähe gelegen, sodass man nicht weit laufen muss, aber doch etwas mehr ruhe hat. Ich würde bei der Buchung eher nicht zögern, bei nur 4 Zimmern kann die Unterkunft zügig ausgebucht sein.

"Groene, ontspannen en zeer gastvrije oase vlakbij de stad"

Super lieve en gastvrije eigenaren die er alles aan doen om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken! Ze helpen en denken met alles mee. Heerlijk zelf gemaakt gevarieerd ontbijt en snacks. Prachtige groene tuin met bloemen, heerlijk rustpunt buiten het centrum. Het zwembad is heerlijk na een warme dag wandelen! De kamers zijn comfortabel met airco, fan en heel goed geluidsdicht gemaakt.

Die Gastgeber haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und bieten einen idealen Einstieg, um Malaysia kennen zu lernen. Leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück! Sehr ruhige Lage gleich neben dem Stadtzentrum. Die gepflegte Gartenanlage und der Pool bieten einen idealen Rückzugsort, um sich vom trubeligen Stadtleben zu erholen. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen!
