Holiday Inn Express Vero Beach-West I-95 by IHG

Simple, clean, and spacious. Great location for getting on/off the highway, and I was able to pack a healthy breakfast for eating on the road.

It felt a bit humid in the room all night (might have been better if I set the air conditioner to a lower temperature).

Location was easy access.

The bathroom in our room 110 was out of date. There was still a tub and it had a terrible caulking job done around it.

There was no continental breakfast available due to flooding within the building (from what I understood). The damages were clearly being worked on (parts of the ceiling in the main lobby hallway were missing and clearly had water damage). Room was okay, but not as clean as I had expected. This part wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but a delivery courier worker acted like he was dropping off our food, and went out a side door with the food instead of delivering it to us! Frustrating to say the least.

The staff was very nice. My bed was comfortable, but not my husband’s. We actually had to change rooms after two nights as his bed was very uncomfortable, it looked like that frame was broken

The lobby and kitchen were under construction and there was no hot, full breakfast as the kitchen was being renovated. No disclosure of this information at the time I made the reservation. Not happy about that, but we couldn’t cancel the reservation as it was non-refundable. The continental breakfast they offered was not great either. The AC in the room was not cold enough. I didn’t like the location either. Not close enough to the nicest areas of Vero Beach, but close to the outlets

The bed was super comfy. Loved having a Keurig in the room and Jonathon at the desk was very friendly and helpful! I didnt get the other gals name but she was great also! And...it was next to a Cracker Barrel!

There is not much to dislike. There was what seemed to be facial hair on the wall next to the mirror. An easy thing to miss as wiping down walls as part of cleaning the room is a bit much. So for the future people that want to shave their FACE RIGHT BY THE MIRROR...wipe your own hair off the wall and don't be a gross human!!
