Villa Selamat, Seminyak, Batu Belig, 10 min from beach

They are scammers, the host asking me to pay 360 EURO for security deposit, after i confirmed booking and paid fully. Not recommend to anyone stay here, they not giving me any option to negotiate. Very poor customer service. They are scammers pls people stay away from this property.

Property is a good location 10 mins away from the hustle and bustle by scooter to the main strip (Mexicola la favela etc). Maid is very Nice came mutiple times to replace towels make beds and helped us with any queeries. Pool was well kept. Good Parking area for rented scooters. Very close to all beach clubs and beaches if walking takes a bit longer but by Grab or scooter very quick. Beds were very comftarble and pillows where good.

Altough for someone like me im not very needy so i have definitely stayed in worse, only things needing mention that are not well stated in their description is. 1. Property is located next to a temple sort of thing where they have chickens that make noise all day and night, however the owner who we met was lovely and apologised for the noise. 2. the upstairs is just open so the downstairs and tghe bedrooms are like seprated but you need to lock them before you leave because they are just kind of open to the balcony. 3. The facilities are outdated as most villas for this price, have leak in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms bathroom shower not great. 4.There is secuirty bond that wasn't really stated in the booking and is crazy for a prepaid booking i would understand if it was when you arrive,(Although it did come back to my account relatively quick).

The location was very near the venues that our group wanted to go to. There were many eateries nearby suited to our tastebuds. The housekeeper has a good personality and has helped us throughout the stay by changing our sheets, giving us extra water etc.

The electricity kept going off, especially when we are bathing or when it is at night. There is no shampoo or body soap provided to us which was quite surprising as most villas do provide it. It was also quite eerie and old.

The villa was very old and in critical condition no proper facilities were provided. The staff had no direct contact only through booking.com they use to send messages and if we ask for something they clearly deny and were delaying the replies. There were so many big lizards which we were not told about before coming and it’s literally uncomfortable.

Loved the villa and the grounds. Always well kept and the pool was nice. There are now loungers on the property.

The roosters are loud at 5am directly next door.
