Lovely, characterful house, comfortable, clean and well positioned for local beaches. Owner was responsive and helpful in answering queries

Not much natural light and electric lighting didn’t add much brightness

I liked the location of the building as it was quiet and in the country but close enough to beaches and Abersoch. It is important to remember to book the restaurants before you arrive, especially during peak season, as it's very busy. Also, you might have to leave your furry friends at home for meals out as many places don't really cater. The garden was secure and yard sized. Everything you need in the property and rustic decor in keeping with the property but felt bit too cramped for me, with the exception of the master bedroom. Personally, I'm not a fan of teddies. The shower is functional, but as mentioned, it is an immersion heater, so it has its limitations. There is some damp in the property that was initially smelled overpowering upon arrival, but there is a dehumidifier, and with a bit of airing, it was fine. Recent limestone plaster used, which will help the aged property with damp over time and has only been recently renovated, so to be expected. It's a beautiful aged property with beautiful features and a wild, pretty stone garden that attracts the bees and butterflies.

Would have liked to have some instructions for recycling. Freezer doesn't work well. Would have appreciated being informed that the property is part of a closed chapel, so you do share with an active cemetery. No live TV, so you may have to use paid apps. Would have benefitted from a long length mirror and a glass cleaner scraper for the over top. Beds and pillows are a little too soft for me personally, but that's about preference.

We absolutely loved the cottage. So peaceful and beautiful from the wildflowers, to the great kitchen and comfy beds.

My mum is disabled, so found the stairs difficult, could do with a hand rail possibly? But other than that, it was a dream - all we could hear were sheep and birds.

Well equipped property, cooked Christmas dinner in the kitchen while we were there. Lovely comfy master bedroom

Fridge a bit small

The farm house kitchen, the log fire and Laura was a great host

Discovered later that there was a possibility of a larger Freezer. The fridge freezer needed to be bigger

Lovely old cottage, wonderful inside and outside decorated with a great attention to detail. location is absolutely great! the host made little notes to help us find/use equipment.

nothing I didn't like really. I regretted there were no dishwasher tablets or that the fire wood had to be replaced if used. as we stayed there only for 3 days we didn't want to waste our precious time looking for shops to get fire wood so we didn't use it. apart from that absolutely stunning.
