Huge 15000sf Pool Modern Studio at Barefoot Resort

The room was easy to access and location was perfect

We never got the parking lot code and had to wait for another car to tell us and the room came with only 1 full size towel. I used a small one and made it work. The shower body wash pump was nearly empty. Overall though, it was great.

I loved the room and pool area so much! I felt safe with my two baby girls in the studio we stayed in. The room was very clean and I loved the decor. Everything was easily accessible and I had all the appliances I needed. Keurig, microwave, fridge, freezer. Thank you for providing silverware as well. It was convenient having USB ports on the side table lamps too!!

Pool and hot tub was cool

The hotel when I bought it online Showed pictures like I was buying a POOL/Balcony view but then got a back side room! Completely ruined the stay the moment on Arrival. The 1 most outrageous dumb thing about this place is you pay for 2 nights and have to be out the 3rd day. They don't allow you to get in the damn room on arrival until 4pm! That's damn near evening time but they expect to kick you out the damn room at 10am!! I repeat 10am!! So they want to check you in late as damn possible and want you gone early as possible. The hotel is about 25 minutes away from mrytle definitely a little drive to the ocean. They have a gate for every parking lot that requires you to physically get out the car type it in and drive in ITS NOT AUTOMATICALLY OPENING FOR YOU TO ENTER OR CANT READ YOUR PARKING PASS BY SIGNAL. They email you 100 rules and to do and not to dos like your 10 years old and they act like they don't have room service they charge a cleanup fee but expect you to empty the rooms trash the he'll is the cleanup fee and maids for? ALSO!! please understand if you book this place before hand they will take half payment upfront. Then other half right before you get there. We'll once you CHECK OUT THEY HIT YOU WITH A HOLDING FEE!! I paid up front 2 months before they only took half. Week before my stay the other half and that was the full price. Go to leave and check out the damn place put a 150 dollar holding charge on my card me and my lady had blew through our savings and were relying on that 150 to get back home from 2 hours away!!! Gas and food! Beware!! Unacceptable for the cost!!

The location was good. Fabulous pool! The room is comfortable and nicely furnished. Parking and accessibility are good. The price was excellent.

The room had no view. The only window opened to the walkway across from the trash shoot. If blinds are opened every passing person sees into the bedroom. So, the blinds had to be kept closed which made the room feel dark and enclosed - like being in a basement. It prevented having that sunny room vacation experience.
