The cottage was beautiful, clean, I bought milk and tea etc but they were already there 😊 So nice and clean, lovely towels and bedding too.

The heating was on and we couldn’t find where to knock it off, so turned all the radiators off one by one.

This is a gem! I could live here! Lovely little cottage right off the road. We absolutely loved this place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We liked everything about it.

I really liked the homey, cottage feel of the property. It was very spacious with plenty of original features, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was lovely to have a fire in the living room. The outdoor space would be great in summer (it was a bit cold and wet to go outside when we stayed). Excellent value for money and great location for walks and stargazing on a clear night.

The staircase could benefit from some carpet - the wooden stairs were very slippy and my friend fell down them, luckily only a few steps from the bottom. The bathroom door window (and outer windows) would benefit from a blind/ curtain, especially as the door leads directly into the living room. A small maintenance issue was that the toilet flush was sticking and continually flushing unless purposefully pushed to come up. It was great to have the local literature available however some of these need updating.
