I chose this property mainly for the terrace, due to my son’s health condition. I noticed comments about outside noise and asked the owner directly—he assured me the terrace was quiet. Upon arrival, we saw nearby construction and asked again. He reassured us it was not an issue. The next morning at 7 AM, we were woken by hammering, chainsaws, and unbearable noise. Sleeping was out of the question, let alone using the terrace. From Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 5 PM, the construction site just 25 meters away caused constant, intense noise. After 5 PM, we could finally open the windows, but the air was full of construction dust. I contacted the owner—he offered compensation “when he has it,” and then stopped responding. Feeling deceived and exhausted, we contacted Booking.com. Unfortunately, their policy states they can’t act unless the owner responds, and he has chosen to remain silent—knowing it protects him. Booking.com acknowledged our complaint and granted a 10% refund, which is all they can do unless the host replies. If you’d like videos or photos, feel free to reach out. Just read the reviews—what this host claims is false. He blames guests for exaggerating noise to get refunds, which is absurd. It’s not his fault there’s construction, but we paid for a quiet stay and had the right to know. The construction has clearly been ongoing for some time.The apartment was booked for six guests, yet there were only towels and bedding for four. When questioned, the owner claimed it was “too warm for duvets”—but the issue was quantity, not temperature. Only one key is provided, and there’s no lockbox, which was very inconvenient. There were two sun loungers. No dryer, and laundry couldn’t be hung outside due to dust. The TV screen goes black during viewing. Underground parking is extremely tight, and nearby street parking was blocked by construction vehicles. Whatever the owner replies—and he will likely accuse us of lying—please consider staying elsewhere.

We stayed at this apartment for a month with our family, and our entire holiday was completely ruined. We booked this property 4 months in advance, but the host never warned us about the major construction site directly next to the apartment. Every day from 7 AM to 7 PM, a huge crane operates right above our terrace, workers are shouting, drilling, and painting, and the noise is so loud that it is impossible to rest or even let our small child nap during the day. There was no real siesta as the construction noise continued all day. Our terrace was always dirty with paint drops, dust, and debris, and we had to wash it ourselves daily. The sunbeds were broken, so we couldn’t even relax there. Inside, the vacuum cleaners were so dirty that they did not work properly, there was no extra bed linen, and the AC blows directly into your face in the bedroom, making it impossible to sleep well. My mother, who has asthma, had her condition seriously worsened due to constant dust — she needed daily medication and an inhaler. My father has mobility problems and could not go far every day, but resting on the terrace was impossible. The only good thing was the pools — but this does not compensate for an apartment that was unlivable due to noise and dirt. We feel cheated and misled, as we paid a high price for peace and comfort but got endless noise, dirt, stress, and extra cleaning work instead of a relaxing holiday. The host does not take any responsibility, and Booking.com has so far not helped us either. I hope our experience helps other travelers to to avoid the same problem.

The property was a great space, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay, inc a fully equipped kitchen and a bbq for outside eating. The terrace is very spacious. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in, the apt was bright and airy, and Adam left us a lovely fruit bowl and bottle of wine. The apartment is set in beautiful gated comunal gardens with three pools. We have already booked again for next year and highly recommend this apartment.
