"Exceptional"

This location was amazing! We were a few minutes from both downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The place is dog friendly so we were able to bring our two babies for no additional fees! They had a nice size backyard to play fetch in and our dogs loved lounging on the deck! Photos were exactly as pictured and the place was very clean and homey. We are already planning on booking again as we loved Bar Harbor so much!

"Lovely peaceful base near Arcadia"

Clean and spacious property, lovely quiet location near to the national park. Well stocked and has pretty much everything you would need. Easy to find and check in.

Nothing really we had a great stay - only thing it didn’t have was a kettle.

"Exceptional"

The Maine Escape is its own house with private access. There are 2 other houses on this property, but parking is not a problem. The beds are comfortable! House is very clean and provided lots of windows for fresh air.

The Maine Escape is pet friendly, but the stairs are wooden and do have gaps. Know that if your pet is fearful of stairs, this could be an issue. Small dogs may get their paws stuck in the gaps. There is also no lock on the sliding door. You will secure the door at night with a piece of wood. There is a combo lock that you use to secure the door when leaving for adventures.

"9/10, would come again next winter! Lovely modern space in a rustic area."

The location is perfect if you want to be near Bar Harbor and Arcadia - 8 minutes away is hard to beat! I work remotely and the property's internet is fast! The space is nice and cozy.

The property path was snow-covered and icy on arrival. Stairs up to the property were grated, making it difficult for small-medium-sized dogs to climb up and down.

"Great holiday spot in an wonderful location"

The property was in a very good location, close to Bar Harbor town and with easy access from the road, the host sent plenty of useful information, the property was equipped well and we had a great time. Bar Harbor and the whole island is worth visiting . Magnificent views, plenty of flora and fauna to be admired as well. We will definitely visit again in the summer when the temperatures are less rigid.

"Great Location"

It was a great place that was had a great location(only 12 minutes from Bar Harbor Village Center and just outside Acadia National Park.) It was also very easy to book my stay even with a dog.
