Stunning & Fun 4 bed home in the heart of Brighton

The rooms were ideal for a family get together, and the location was quiet. It was clean and tidy with lots of games, tvs etc. to keep people occupied and have a movie-night. The kitchen was very well appointed but could have done with more glasses.

I thought that the communal area was a bit smaller than I had expected though being autumn we could not really use the outside which would have made big difference. It would have been better if there were more dining chairs. The bins outside were completely full with rubbish in the drive which we tidied up, but we had to leave our rubbish bags inside as there was nowhere to deposit them.

Accommodation was brilliant for what we wanted. Lots to keep the children happy and comfortable for the adults.

Unfortunately, the TV in the bathroom, which was a highlight, wasn't working.

First floor has 2 bedrooms and a separate bath room with bath and toilet. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms with on suites which both have showers. 1 on suite has the floating toilet coming away from the wall so didn’t use it as it felt unsafe. Ceiling fan thick with dust. 2nd on suite fan exactly the same. Ground floor has a small toilet then the main open plan games room / kitchen. The floor is wooden and feels sticky where it’s just been mopped over and over but not cleaned properly. The folding patio doors have a huge crack down them which the owner said had just been reported but was on reviews I read from a month ago. The pop corn machine is still missing parts as per other reviews so can’t be used. The pool table is a table which you take the top off and becomes a pool table but is right up against a wall and can’t be moved without moving all the sofas out the way. The arcade machine is right next to the tv and is so load you can’t watch tv if someone is playing it. The poker table was in a cupboard on the top floor hallway in bits as there is no space in the so called gaming room for it without moving sofas and table out the way. The garden has slabs and fake grass but several of the slabs are loose and wobbly. The bbq is in the corner which you can’t use as the thorn bushes from the neighbours garden have over grown covering the bbq area stopping you cooking on it without getting cut on brambles. Weeds all over the garden which along with the games room has had very clever photos taken making it look a lot bigger than it is. Stickers on the patio doors leading out to the garden saying you cannot even go into the garden after 10 o’clock as the neighbours have complained about too much noise.

The property was spacious for 6 adults and 3 children and kept the kids entertained with table tennis, outdoor games and xBox

We were only told about the 10pm curfew day before checking in. This was annoying as had we known about this before, would have looked for somewhere else. The bifolding door would not open and one of the glass panes had a crack. No hand towels in the downstairs toilet

Lots of stairs, top set very creaky Top bathroom tv had no remote Ground floor toilet had no loo roll holder or hand towel Large crack in living room window may not be safe to open, so we left it closed Bathroom light up mirrors had no batteries But it's not a big deal Parts missing on popcorn machine so couldn't be used

The house was beautiful. The location is ok but would rather have been a bit closer to the beach and shops.

This property is in a residential area and the neighbours quite clearly have had enough of this being a holiday home to the point have complained so much that noise detectors are fitted inside and outside the property and you are expected to be quiet from 10pm. When I’m on holiday I want to enjoy myself and 10pm is too early to have to stop having fun. We paid a lot of money to be here so when we got the call at around 10 when we had hit the noise level it put a dampener on our holiday. All we were doing was playing pool with some music on the tv. We were aged between 14 and 75. If you could pick this property up and move it somewhere else it would be amazing.

Great house , great facilities , Darren was very helpful.

Very minor issues , no cutlery , couldn't figure out how to use the dishwasher but didn't affect our stay
