APPARTAMENTO CORTINA 1956

The location is perfect. Very close to the city center. (a walking distance) The apartment is nice and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. We felt at home :).

Cortina D’ampezzo is a great town, and the apartment is amazing. Rosanna, the owner, is wonderfully helpful, and it’s clear she cares about the apartment and every detail. It’s all themed in winter sports, which is fun (even in the summer). We loved it! Location - amazing. There’s a back path from the apparent to the center of town, within 5 min walk. Can’t ask for a better access. Completely quiet neighborhood, but everything is easily accessible without moving the car. Setup - downstairs there’s the kitchen, dinning area and living room. Upstairs are the rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is renovated and so is one of the showers. The apartment has a very cabin feel to it, with lots of wood, and it really feels great. All modern double pane windows that open in various ways, which was useful for get the amazing evening air in. Free parking outside the apartment. Kitchen - had everything we needed, including cookies, coffee and spices. All the kitchenware that you’d need, and all themed nicely with deers. Getting there - super easy to find, Rossana sent all the details, key in a lockbox, super clean apartment and everything was ready for us. Communication - super easy, and timely. Got all the details before we arrived, then Rosanna made sure we’re all set and gave me recommendations for restaurants and what to do. She’s really helpful and just generally fun and interesting to chat with (all remote).

Great Location close to center of Cortina

The kitchen was not up to standard. It was not clean and the pot drawers a total mess filled with old baking pans. We had to wash all our dishes and glasses as it still had old wine and food in it. The owners left all their old groceries and outdated appliances in the pantry. It felt as if we where staying in their home. The oven and Microwave needed a good cleaning. No drying rack for the dishes. The rest of the house was fine, but the bathrooms also had toiletry products left behind by the owners. The outside veranda was not cleaned - still had old towels over the couches and cigarette buds in the ashtrays! The heat was also supposed to be on upon our arrival - which it was not. But once we got it going it worked really well. This could be a lovely apartment if the kitchen was cleaned and upgraded and all the owners personal belongings and old kitchen appliances removed.
