Great location, close enough to town but far enough away it didn’t feel busy.

Picturesque location in the hills above Kendal, well-organised and friendly hosts - perfect if you want to spend a few days with family and friends and explore the surrounding Lakes District, or just chill out in the back garden.

Nice quiet location set in glorious countriside, very easy to get to, well equipped and a good standard of clealiness.

Although there was a some information on the inside of the main door, the cottage would benefit having a folder with more comprehensive information for other users. Things like; how the heating system operates, where the nearest supermarket is located (and other amenities) would be useful.

The property was spacious and well furnished, with a lovely garden. It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped. There was an efficient heating system that made it really cosy. It was also in an excellent location

A comfier sofa would have been nice

Cottage was beautiful, location was perfect for me, The cottage was much bigger than i anticipated which was a welcome suprise. The garden was a good size and beautifully kept.

There is 1 tv and dvd player in the cottage but the remote doesnt work and no hdmi cable to connect the dvd to the tv, we did find buttons on tv but felt for the cost i would have expected a fully working tv. It was only a minor issue and we managed without. Another minor issue for me was i looked for a property with a bath as i have 5 children 1 being a baby and this cottage doea have a bath but no bath plug i had to buy a small paddling pool to bath him each night the other managed with the shower of which there are 2 so like a said only a minor issue but it was one of the reason i chose this cottage of other properties in the area.

Great location, lovely house, garden.

Not being able to cook in kitchen was slightly inconvenient but not a big deal.

Perfect for short notice, Host Howard was absolutely fantastic and helpful. Will hopefully go again in future.
