We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was immaculately clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated, and its location was ideal - peaceful and close to the beach and shops. We had a parking space right in front of the house. The owner was incredibly hospitable and paid close attention to detail. Our family had a wonderful time and would consider staying here again. We would also recommend this property to our friends.

Lack of ventilation in the bathroom

The apartment was very spacious and decorated beautifully. The lovely high ceilings make it feel even bigger. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom is a great size, you could fit a travel cot or kids travel bed in there as well. Our children (11 & 13) slept on the sofa bed and they were comfortable enough. The living room is very comfortable and was lovely to chill and watch movies after a day of exploring. The kitchen is gorgeous with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The walk to the beach took us about 10 minutes, the beach has lovely soft sand and we found this end of the beach cleaner and quieter than Bournemouth beach. There is a beach bar that sells drinks and pizza and a great restaurant called Urban Reef. We packed lots into our few days and it was wonderful to come home to The Retreat at the end of the day. It really does feel luxurious and we will definitely stay again!

Very nice and cozy apartment, clean, fresh and nicely decorated. Location is also extraordinary- walking distance to all places you need- beach, shops, restaurants, pub. East check in and good contact with the owner.

Immaculate place. Stunning design, clean and comfortable. Road to the beach is just around the corner making the location perfect. Great size for our family (couple and small infant) and bedroom was incredible spacious for us to set up our travel cot and allow us to still move around comfortably. Many essentials provided for our weekend stay which helped greatly as we arrived very late due to traffic and shops were closing so it allowed us to still not worry about having anything in. Owner was very helpful and great with communication when needed also. Highly recommend this property!

There was nothing about the property we didn’t like! The only thing for other guests to be mindful of would be the car park is very small and tight. We had a Tuscon and it was very difficult to manoeuvre getting in and out of the allocated space when other cars in the other properties were there also, but it’s obviously nothing that can be helped! It’s not a downside to the place at all. Just more of an awareness of how small it is for preparedness

We loved the decor, the overall feel and cleanliness of the whole apartment...it felt so much as a home should feel and communication from start to finish made the whole process such a pleasure...our stay was amazing and the perfect spot to explore.

The only thing I can think of is maybe dimmer switches, just to be able to adjust lighting in the evening...but it's a very small point.
