Would stay again really Enjoyed !!

Would of preferred a electric shower but it did work to a good extent

The Hot Tub

The beds were too small and the photos were misleading as of more than one property.

The lodge was perfect for us, it had everything we needed, it was like a little home from home. We loved the hot tub! It was a little added bonus. The location was perfect for us and what we needed it for. We bought our dog with us and it was perfect for her, the garden was enclosed so ideal for her to be able to wonder round.

We had a lovely stay at the Lodge, it was very cosy , comfortable and clean. And best of all we loved the hot tub. 😄

Couldn't get signal on the telly and no washing machine.

Owners responded quickly to our messages, but were unwilling to resolve our complaints.

This booking is a scam for the following reasons (from our experience). 1. For smaller groups reserving the two-room cottage, even though the description states “The entire place is yours.” it is a garage converted into a shack with bed-space for maximum three adults with only one toilet! The “double beds” are too small for more than one adult, they have bad pillows and small duvets, and one sofa-bed is broken while the other sofa-bed had a bad mattress. Most concerning, the rear bedroom reeks of mildew and is unusable for persons with breathing complaints. 2. The parking space is only adequate for maximum four cars; yet while we were there, a total of 8 cars needed to use the parking area. This meant that the smaller cottage had to beg the other cottage to move their cars. 3. The “cottage” had bugs from outside that were in every room, including spiders that had made themselves at home in the building. 4. The hot-tub was way too hot. It required one day to cool down to an acceptable temperature. Additionally, since the larger cottage also has a hot-tub and are just over the fence, it can be very loud late at night. 5. Check out is only until 11am, even though it states until 11:30. Overall, I recommend not booking the two-bedroom cottage option. It should not be a separate booking at all. This booking appears to be capitalising on the description of the main cottage, while smaller groups suffer from getting scammed into thinking they will get more space, more toilets, and adequate space to sleep.

Very convenient for what we needed . Two bedrooms, kitchen & sitting room, bathroom all on one level , and with its own hot tub !

Had to watch that our small dog didn't go under the new fence as its quite a big gap in places .

Location was good and hot tub

The house wasn't very clean. The furnishings need a very big refurbishment! Lots of missing paint, floors dirty, beds like concrete. Only one pillow on all beds, location is good but the garden and furniture really needed looking into, one chair was snapped but still out, needed binning!

Nice house, very clean and tidy. Lots of bedrooms to fit a big group.

Didn’t have a few essentials eg. can opener, cheese grater and outside smelt of sewage, other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Location was great for our needs and price was reasonable, some nice touches re dishwasher / washing tablets and toiletries. Was OK for 2 nights

House and garden could do with some attention, not enough lounge seating to accommodate number of guests, we had to move seating from elsewhere and make do also not enough dining seating for all guests to dine together, damp smell in side bedrooms / downstairs bathroom area, ill fitting curtains. No wardrobes, could do with hooks on the back of doors in bedrooms and bathrooms at least. Insecure front door / poor security
