3 Fishery Cottages - 2 Bedroom house close to town

Brilliant location overlooking the mouth of the River Drowse and Donegal Bay. Fabulous sunsets in the western sky. Living accommodation on the first floor to take advantage of the sea views.

Lumpy heavy pillows. If you're using the dishwasher, you really need more crockery. More wineglasses too. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped.

Beautiful house, quiet location, with stunning views. The house has the living quarters on the upper level giving perfect views of the sea and mountain, and the sleeping area on the lower floor.

We did make contact about some friends popping by for a cup of tea, bur as we did not hear back, we decided to go to them instead as the contract states no guests other than those on the booking without written consent. Bit strict, but understandable so we decided to just stick with the rules and meet them elsewhere. We filled the black bin bag and couldn't find more, however there were plenty of bin liners in the bathroom bins and we used one of these for the few bits of extra rubbish like biscuit packets and light wrappers.

The views are absolutely stunning! The cottage is very comfortable and the location is perfect. It’s great to have two separate bathrooms and an additional toilet as well.

The bunkbed in the second bedroom is a bit wobbly. The ladder could do with being tightened up a bit. The kitchen utensils are also in need of replacing. The crockery and pans are fine, it just needs some new cooking utensils.

I loved the location and the view of the ocean from the living room. The house was comfortable and easy to access Bundoran. Thats it.

It is not the house that was the problem. It was the absolutely unnecessary fuss that it took to book the house! Never, when I use Booking.com, have I had to upload ID, fill out unnecessary forms, and "sell my soul" to get into a house! I had to put a deposit down (which is fine), but i got a total of 6 emails regarding this before we even left for Bundoran, even though i had paid the deposit it kept telling me i had not paid! Constant and annoying. Additionally, even though i paid the extra fee for extra people for 1 night (which is a terrible rule) It was so expensive, £460 for 2 nights in what is a very basic house, with the big selling point being the view. I was constantly harassed after I secured my credit card about this. Even though I had already paid the deposit, I got a total of 5 emails telling me to pay! It made me feel horrid! It's far too much. Plus we stayed for 2 nights, and on the VERY 1ST morning, when we were about to venture out, I got the "checkout text" about having to be out by 11am the next morning, on the 1st day of vacation, it was completely unnecessary and RUDE. They need to rethink how they treat people, and I realise I was not an air bnb customer but a booking.com one. Their system is overcomplicated and unnecessary, I will never be back in one of these properties, and I advise people to stay away!!! There are nicer places in Bundoran with much less paperwork and constant overreaching. Never again.

Loved our stay, it was exactly what we were looking for for a couple of days get away with two young kids who loved it as well. The views was amazing and we timed it right with the weather, absolutely perfect view of the sun set each night. Really comfortable nights sleep after busy day in the town, we will be looking to stay again for the next time we go to Bundoran.
