*2bdr Victorian Home away from Home - *Central Loc

The location was pretty good, quiet and you could get around to most places within 10 minutes by car. The space itself was fine, well stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms, tv, living area.

I never ever write bad reviews but the biggest issue with the place was that it wasn't clean, the rug had crumbs on it and the floor hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We were travelling with a baby so spent most of the first day cleaning the place. My white socks were pretty black by the end of the first day. The couch/futon also had crumbs in the crevices. There seemed to be a house fly problem as the screens on most of the windows were falling off. There is also a lot of noise when there is a tenant upstairs, this might just be because of the property but you can hear every footstep really loudly at night. Also very strange that they had to take a photo of the front and back of my credit card before letting us in.

I liked that the home was located near the hospital which was the reason for our stay! The neighborhood seemed decent but both nights we stayed we heard gun shots close by!

The directions that were given to us were for the wrong house so we had to call the host and he gave us the correct code. The furniture was not family friendly and very uncomfortable. Definitely didn't feel honey at all. We had to bring in blankets and pillows, also. My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the house!! I am a house cleaner so I know how to clean a house and this house was gross. There was a booger on the wall, hair and food in the utensil drawer, the bathroom was not clean and the shower door didn't shut at all. We had to shower with it completely open! The upstairs unit was also occupied and the person stole my cigarettes and tried to get into our by house twice!! He even admitted it and said he was just exploring! We couldn't leave our belongings at the house unattended in fear that our stuff would be broken into.

Location wide felt like it was in the middle of everything

Wasn’t clean , windows wouldn’t lock, the check in process was awkward,

the property was nice and clean. some things could use an update but over all totally worth it.

it was a little difficult to contact property and get assistance with checking in after completing questionnaire via email and to access facility.

The bathroom shower door kept opening and wouldn't stay closed was very frustrating. Then the person upstairs was loud and was constantly walking around with stomping steps. Connection with the TV was very poor.

no extra towels. no extra toilet paper. no extra garbage bags. the beds were so hard. all the furniture was from ikea tiny and uncomfortable. no control of heat was 65 degrees the whole time.
