location and view. the apartment was good and relatively clean. this is a good property.

the bins in the bathroom not emptied. tooth paste tubes left by other people still in bathroom. No tea towel to dry pots. dishwater not emptied from previous wash. No plastic bags in kitchen bins. it would have been nice to have a small bottle of milk to get a tea when I arrived. no cushions for settee. bathroom shower was really slippery with no bath mat to prevent an accident. picking up a key from what looked like a council estate. with some small changes this property could be fantastic not just good. having said that I would stay again.

Key collection, key collection and key collection!! After a 5 hour journey through fog and darkness, the extra 45 minute round trip from the property, across town to get the key was a really bad start - very stressful and something we'd never had to do anywhere else. For anyone arriving with children or in a taxi, it would be horrendous. We hadn't even arrived late. A keybox on site somewhere or an arrangement to meet at the property would have been infinitely preferable. Not being able to operate hot water system (despite ringing the owner and pressing the booster button as instructed) was also a negative - could get hot water in the kitchen but not in the bath. An information sheet would have helped. The bed probably was a double but it seemed really narrow, and the duvet was very thin and not cotton - we love the European system of putting two single beds together to make a great king-size (which the bedroom was easily big enough to accommodate).

The location of the apartment is ideal for business trips, the view from the apartment is breathtaking.

As mentioned the location of the apartment was ideal for our business trips, however due to the fact they are not VAT registered and it took us over an hour to collect the keys and get back to the property we will not be staying here again. Even though the key collection is only about 3 miles from the apartment, it is the other side of Reading and in rush hour traffic this is a nightmare. Plus it is very hard to park on the street where you collect the key. If the key was located on/nearer the property and they were VAT registered, this property would be booked out most week nights by my colleagues. Also you have to take the visitors parking permit back up to the apartment with the key. If we didn't have a car this could have cost us close to £40 in taxis

A very impressive apartment that was clean, comfortable, well located and a very responsive host! Would recommend!

The pick up location for the keys was about a 15 minute drive from the apartment itself. It took a bit of navigating in the dark - made it a challenging beginning as we arrived late in the evening.
