This property is A SCAM. There’s NOTHING to like unless you want to spend your holiday in a CRACKDEN and amongst RUBBISH and broken appliances.

The worst experience I’ve had in this platform, TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS or, as it happened to me, you will spend hundreds extra and have loads of stress to search for a last minute alternative. Let me start: - Broken wooden door in the entryway to a crackden alley. Security? Absolutely none. - disgusting alleyway entrance with SO much rubbish and literal animal poo everywhere. Amongst it: * litter * drink cans * rotting food * rubble * exposed splintered wood * toilet tissue * discarded clothing * cigarette butts - at the stairs after the alleyway, exposed splintered wood with exposed rusted nail (serious health hazard as this is the only support to lean on while climbing the VERY narrow stairs). - discarded fridge, very dirty and more litter and rubbish on the outdoor entrance/terrace area, including discarded toilet paper. - as we went inti the flat, there was a horrible chemical smell like ammonia that we later found out that a few days before there was another user complaining about this and was told that was due to cleaning a previous renters puke. - pan in kitchen with old food remains left inside - kitchen worktop broken and peeling - carpets with a lot of dirt and tears - bin in kitchen w broken top and with dirt and bin-juice left inside!! (which was creating a HORRID smell) - dirt on walls, walls generally in bad condition with broken plaster - mold on ceiling on the second floor - dirty and stained old bathtub - the listing states that parking nearby is available "and costs £3.50 per day", which was then “corrected” in chat with the agents that directly contradicts this, explaining that £3.50 is the overnight fee only. Meaning the stay will cost us significantly more than advertised. I have never in my life felt more tricked, and when we were over the phone with the agent explaining go all the above he had the audacity to try to minimise and convince us that “the flat was not that bad”.

Filthy dirty, not as described on listing. Cleaners had to return to clean again before we could stay. Reception room was soaking as previous occupants had been sick in hallway. Bathroom was disgusting, shower full of mould, toilet seat broken. Kitchen was unusable, had to buy our own glasses and mugs as the ones provided were not fit for purpose. Leftover food in freezer. Cutlery drawer full of crumbs and rubbish. Jelly sweets stuck to the ceiling and various points around the property, clearly showing lack of attention by the cleaners. Extra bedding just thrown in the corner of the reception room. Windows didn’t shut so incredibly noisy at night. Rubbish left near front door attracting vermin. Old fridge feeezer parked outside front door - very unsightly. Passage way to apartment was very unnerving as dark and not secure. Essentially this is a student property. Should not be sold as luxury as it is far from luxury. I’ve never stayed somewhere so dirty and filthy. Unfortunately as we were in Chelmsford for Radio 2 in the Park, it was incredibly busy therefore there was no alternative accommodation that we could use. I have photos of the unsafe front door, dirty rooms, dirty utensils, shoddy kitchen, food in freezer, wet carpets, rubbish in garden court area, mouldy bathroom.

Good location, responsive landlord, great rooms, comfortable beds. Secure, reasonable parking a very short walk away. My family of 6 stayed there comfortably- so much space!

Entrance was not the best but don’t be put off- it’s a lovely apartment. Street noise on one night.

The entrance was like a crack den, covered in rubbish and totally unsuitable for small children to enter given the steep concrete stairs. We were approached by one of the rough sleepers trying to gain access as I came back with a small child asleep on my shoulders on Saturday. The area outside the house is unsafe for the children to go out on as it is a serious falling hazard. We were kept awake by drunks on the street outside until the small hours.
